Wet and Wild - No Go!
Wet and Wild was an absolute waste of time, money and effort. What a mess! There were about 10 buses full of small children visiting the park - all absolutely unsupervised (not one adult was seeing to them). Not worth it at all - we left after 20mins.

Highly recommend Kaleido Eye Care Springs
Had a wonderful experience - Highly recommend. I recently had specs made at the Kaleido Eye Care Centre in Springs - the frames are so comfortable - the lenses are made so well and I can see perfectly (and my prescription needs are not simple). The Dr and staff were great. Super affordable in terms of pricing.

**** Food & Service at Ocean Basket Springs Mall
Could Ocean Basket at Springs Mall be any more USELESS? After hearing quite a few complaints, as of late, regarding the food and service at Ocean Basket at Springs Mall; I had first-hand experience of the utter uselessness of the restaurant today. Ordered fish and vegetables. After having waited some 30-minutes for my food; in a relatively quiet restaurant, I was presented with the worst plate of food I have ever eaten at an Ocean Basket. The fish was so over cooked and dry, it was like swallowing sand that had been drizzled with lemon butter sauce! My creamed spinach was the sourest thing I have ever eaten - either the cream was off, or it was a Valentine day patrons left-overs from yesterday that they thought I should be fed and pay for today?!? The food was completely inedible, so I ate hardly anything - tasted to start and then pushed the plate away! I complained to the waiter, who said he would call the ‘manager’. I use the term ‘manager’ VERY loosely, to describe the person who came to attend to the matter. He was about as useful as a used bus ticket! This guy couldn’t ‘manage’ his way out of a paper-bag with a map and a flashlight! He apologized and then proceeded to bring me a bill for the full amount of all food ordered (not eaten, ordered - I hardly ate anything on my plate - no fresh properly cooked food - just a bill) and merrily went on about his clock-watching day. The staff there cannot even cook a piece of fish because all they do is talk **** to one another all the time (thats not to mention the cooks who stood and watched the cricket on tv, instead of making decent, edible food). So no problem Ocean Basket THIEVES - I paid the full bill and console myself with the fact that I will NEVER spend another cent at Ocean Basket Springs Mall again! I do wonder if the owner and/or staff who pedal a **** service and bring **** food to customers would be happy to pay for the **** I paid for today? ? I think not - but because there is NO proper supervision at the restaurant anymore, and because you think you can do whatever you want and get away with it - I suppose its all good??!!?? P.S. before I left Ocean Basket, the manager did go have a laugh with the cook about my complaint - does this constitute taking action Ocean Basket Head Office ?? What a bunch of ASSHOLES! P.P.S. If I am going to proceed and split hairs to further highlight the **** on offer at Springs Mall Ocean Basket, then also note that no bread was brought to the table as is customarily on offer, because it was FINISHED. FINISHED like my patronage! (for-*%#*-sakes)

Giovanni's 'Italian' Restaraunt at Canival City Casino
<p>I am writing to complain about Giovanni's restaurant, at Carnival City Casino. More specifically the fact that we were served food which made us sick afterwards.</p> <p>On Sunday, 14 August 2016; at around 14h30, my husband and I; ordered 2 oxtail meals. After charging us R149.00 per dish (which is fine if the food is not spoilt) - we have both become quite ill. <br />I took some of the oxtail bones home, in a daggy-bag; for my dog - and even she became ill from having chewed the bones!</p> <p><br />We all experienced running stomachs, nausea and vomiting. And the best part is that we paid for it!<br />To add insult to injury; we have incurred medical expenses today also; as a direct result of Giovanni's lack of concern for the quality and freshness of the food they serve.</p> <p> </p> <p>It absolutely unacceptable to serve spoilt food, to customers - and then still have the audacity to charge the prices that they do! May I suggest that the owner try a "NICE" oxtail for lunch today (with my compliments) - A taste of what he expects his "past and never-again" customers to eat!</p> <p> </p> <p>Be Warned - If you want to avoid illness and disappointment; then AVOID GIOVANNI'S!</p> <p>Total rip-off.</p>
