I purchased a Durban voucher in December and reached out in March to make a booking. I was told the aircraft had an accident and that flights were temporarily suspended (which I completely understood). However, from that point forward, my emails went unanswered for days, and when I clearly stated “I’m in Durban”, I was ignored. Eventually (after still getting no response), I felt forced to make arrangements to travel to Johannesburg, only for them to later claim it was my choice, which is completely false. I contacted them multiple times requesting a phone number (also ignored), and not once did they show any empathy, accountability, or offer even a small gesture of goodwill for all the confusion and inconvenience. After sending a detailed and polite email to clarify everything (with evidence and screenshots), I still received no response. Based on my experience and reading many other similar complaints, it’s clear this company has a pattern of poor communication, misleading vouchers and no accountability once they receive payment. Avoid them at all costs cause you might end up paying for an “experience” that never happens.
If you’re planning to propose or getting married PLEASE for your sanity AVOID using these guys. I mean, the mistake we did was not check the reviews before my fiancé chose them for my engagement ring. After going back & forth about losing one of the stones in the ring we came here & saw very similar of not same experiences we had! What’s worse is how they imply that it’s YOUR FAULT that a premium ring’s stone fell off after not even a full month having it. I literally never enjoyed my ring, it took a toll on my mental cause what was meant to be the happiest times of my life were the worst! Now let me break it down to y’all … On the 24th of April I was ask for my hand in marriage with a very stunning ring from Sterns, I was happy .. but it needed resizing. I booked it on the 10th of June & was told the guy fetches them on a Friday & the ring was ready for collection on the 20th of June. I couldn’t get it as I was traveling, my fiancé fetched it on the 5th of July. From then I was happy with the size but I do recall seeing that the bottom of the stone was showing but as I’m not an expert I thought it’s how it’s always been or there’s no big deal. But I recall having an unsettling feeling about it & brushing it off. Then on the 29th of July we were out having dinner & my fiancé said my rin was hurting him, that’s when we realised the stone was gone & those things that hold it were open! Let me also put it to you that I’d even forget my ring sometimes as this whole thing was still new to me, sometimes I’d leave it on purpose cause it was loose! So I rarely had my ring on, I wore it for such a short period of time! So my fiancé took it back to Sterns Pavilion where he was met with a very RUDE store manager, who not only accuse him of sabotaging his own engagement but of marks on the ring & whatever else she said. Mind you we aren’t experts of rings! We don’t know the technicalities, all we wanted was answers & possible things that might have happened perhaps when we took it in for resizing! But no, he was met with accusations & insults! To a point where my fiancé was like to me it’s ok let’s just fix it cause now the engagement party’s coming up & you like your ring. I’d rather we fix it than to stress about it cause these people aren’t budging, they say it’s NEVER happened before, they’ve NEVER had a case like this so clearly we’re the problem. I said to him but if we do that we’re enabling them to rob us ! We didn’t do anything wrong! If anything they should check their supplier or the resizing guy cause if we’re going through this chances are we’re not the only ones! Even if we are , they should take it up with their supplier. How dare they accuse us for trusting them with such ??! Who in their right minds would sabotage their own engagement?!! Like come on ?? So as upset I was I went on socials & wrote to them, they responded after 3 days .. we made arrangements to book the ring in for assessment in Cape Town, lol the SAME feedback… it’s “our” fault. My fiancé asks them to quote for repair & they quote more than half the selling price 🤣 at this point we like these people are ****S. Clearly. And they don’t give a damn about their customers .. instead we were treated like ********s!! I tell my fiancé not to agree to that quote I’d rather give business to other jewellery stores. In the midst of all this my fiancé got me another right for elsewhere & it also went for resizing & it’s never given me problems! When we thought about writing a review here we thought let’s check maybe others have the same problem with their products & boy oh boy !!! Were we not met with hundreds of similar problems?!!! Yet it was said we’re the only ones , it’s never happened before. My aunt as well lost her stone , Sterns … wow. I would not recommend these people even for those specials they have. YOU WILL WEEP ok? Don’t say I didn’t warn you. I wish we saw these way earlier so we get our refund & go elsewhere. This is unacceptable, so many bad SIMILAR reviews ?!! We are taken for a ride & for fools!

Well we might have a serial scammer on the loose! Mr Mbatha disappeared into thin air with our belongings since he was working with our unit at La Ballito, he had access to the flat cause he had his own keys since Dec. The flat was meant to be done in Dec but still ..on Tues he left the keys with our helper & only found out on Wed. He's not been taking our calls nothing cause he finished a job worth of 11k. Mind you this guy asked for an advance in Dec to pay his workers & he got it cause we wanted to move in asap. He didn't deliver & it's been the same excuses ever since. Such a small flat that would take 2 weeks to finish has taken 3 whole months! What's annoying is he left with our belongs worth of thousands! Disappeared with no explanation whatsoever. So disrespectful & shady! He's clearly used to this and he's doing this cause he knows my boyfriend stays in Jhb. I would go check if there's any progress & I'd get there & find some random guy who doesn't even know what he's doing. He asked me to send a recommendation letter to someone at the beginning which I did cause they were still just taking the walls down & tiles out & he looked trustworthy. This guy has ruined our holidays as he'd lie & say he'll def finish on this day so my bf would come down only to find the flat still the way it Was! So we'd booked ? I mean, who does that?! If you value your peace you wouldn't want anything to do with these people. Worst company to ever deal with!
