Our business received an e-mail for an upcoming tender to supply 40 water pumps for the Dept of Public Works, for attn: Mamma Mabuso. We sourced quotes from our suppliers, but when we searched for the specific type of pump, immediately a company by the name of Pump Power in Gqeberha came up. When we contacted them for a quote on the pumps, they were cheaper than our normal suppliers. We asked for a written quote. We then quoted the Dept of Public Works and almost immediately received the go-ahead. Pump Power started calling us to ask when we will be paying the deposit. Our admin lady told them that the owner is in a meeting and we'll contact them as soon as we're ready to pay. They kept calling, asking how much we can pay, as they have already packed the order, ready to ship. Alarm bells went off and we contacted the Dept of Public works directly. Their number differed from the number on the tender form. They confirmed there is a Mamma Mabuso working there, but she's in Bloemfontein, not Pretoria. When we inquired about current tenders, they confirmed there is no such tender out at the moment, and it's a ****. These people are so organized, they've got all the right names, addresses, numbers, etc. They also work closely with the supplier, Pump Power, who will take your money for the pump order, but obviously never supply, and disappear with your money. Please be VERY aware of any government tenders sent out. Do your homework and contact them directly. Don't just believe everything at first glance.
BAD, BAD, BAD!!! I have placed orders in the past with no problems. But on 23 December I placed and paid for an order. On their system it still shows as "being processed". Since it's taking so long I decided to cancel the order - as per their rules you can cancel while it's still in processing. But I have sent numerous e-mails, whatsapp messages, facebook messanger messages, etc, but no reply. All I get is the automated response. You can't phone them either; it's also an automated response telling you so send an email. I am VERY disappointed in their lack of service and response. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
/After signing up on 16/11, the program was only loaded on 24/11. On 29/11 I made contact with one of their staff and training was scheduled for 07/12. But on 29/11 I already mentioned that this seems far too time consuming and complicated and I simply don't have the time and want to cancel. There was no mention of a 5 day cancellation clause at the time of signing up or even after that. SInce then I have been trying to cancel, but they were closed over the holidays. Today 17/01 I receive a mail simply stating that they can't refund me the R19700 paid, as it was not cancelled within 5 days of signing up. But as you can see it was impossible to cancel something you knew nothing about and that was only installed 8 days later. This is totally unacceptable and I will not leave it there. My lawyers will take this further.
I only ever shop at Dischem whenever possible. I buy all my skincare, haircare and medicine there. Their prices are the best of all. Great variety of products too. I never walk out empty-handed and always buy more than what I went in for.
Very interesting company, selling a lot of "not yet locally available" products. Fairly well priced. Good service and speedy feedback w.r.t. queries. Very speedy response when returning something and refunds are also processed quickly. I am very satisfied.

I ordered and paid for 2 items from Lifestyle Ltd on 08/01 - 2 Armor nail gel (R80) and 1 fake alarm beam (R220) R300 total with free postage. Immediately received a mail confirming order and tracking number. 1 week later still no parcel. Contacted via e-mail and Facebook and was assured it was sent off on 19th. Collected parcel on Thursday 28/01. Opened at home, the nail gel was missing from parcel and on the invoice I was charged R80 for postage instead. I have since then sent numerous e-mails, messages via Facebook and also tried to call them, but have had no reply. They NEVER answer their phones although they advertise they're available 24/7. I have ordered from them before with no problems, but this time their service is extremely disappointing and the fact that they ignore all requests are very infuriating. I want the items I ordered sent at no charge, since that was the original contract. If they can't do that, I want ALL my money back and they must pay for the postage to return the one item I did get.
