Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience with PostNet Broadacres. On the morning of 17 March, I was parking opposite the store when a staff member—who appeared to be offloading stock from a Toyota (reg: BF 20 HY GP)—drove off with the left rear door still wide open, directly into the space I was attempting to park in. Despite signalling and hooting to alert her to the danger, she continued driving completely unfazed, creating a serious near-miss situation. When I approached her to raise the concern, she responded with attitude and made snide remarks instead of acknowledging the safety risk. This kind of careless behaviour is extremely concerning and, based on the interaction, does not seem like an isolated incident. I later mentioned this at my gym, and someone else shared a similar experience. Due to this, PostNet Broadacres has lost my business, as well as that of my family and neighbours. I will also be sharing this experience by word of mouth. I would like to formally raise a serious safety concern regarding an incident that occurred on the morning of 17 March involving a staff member from PostNet Broadacres. While I was attempting to park opposite the store on my way to the gym, a staff member—who appeared to be offloading stock from a Toyota vehicle (registration: BF 20 HY GP)—attempted to drive off with the left rear door still fully open. At the time, I was in the process of parking next to the vehicle. Despite signalling to indicate my presence, the driver continued moving. I then hooted to warn her of the dangerous situation, but she remained completely unfazed. Concerned about the obvious safety risk, I approached her to address the matter. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the situation or apologising, she responded with a dismissive attitude and made snide remarks. This behaviour reflects a troubling disregard for basic safety and customer consideration. Based on the interaction, it appeared to be habitual rather than an isolated lapse in judgment. This concern was further reinforced when I later mentioned the incident at my gym, where another individual indicated they had experienced a similar issue in the past. As a result of this incident, PostNet Broadacres has lost my business, as well as that of my family and neighbours. I will also be sharing this experience more broadly within my community.
