I am a Pensioner 65 years old, i bought goods from Hirsch's Strubens Valley for over Twenty Seven Thousand Rands (R27600). I was encouraged to buy an Extended Warranty, for my Elba Gas Stove. Two years down the line i had a problem with the Elba Gas Stove, i went to the store to have it sorted out, now it is a year later and my Gas Stove is STILL NOT FIXED. Firstly they could not find my order, then they managed to locate my purchase which under the Centurion Store in Pretoria, then they wanted the COC Electrical Certificate, as i could not find my Certificate i had to PAY to get another one, when i went to give them the Certificate i managed to find the OLD Certificate and then i gave them TWO COC Certificates. It was nearly THREE Months before someone came to my home to fix the Gas Stove. Guess what, the so called Technician came with the WRONG PART, he took a piece of the OLD and NEW Part so that he could TRY AND MAKE IT WORK and promised me that he will be back with the correct part to sort it out and ONE YEAR LATER I AM STILL WAITING. Three weeks ago I called the Service Department to query what was the delay and the Service Manager (Asif) told me that it now has to be sorted out by the EXTENDED WARRANTIES DEPARTMENT MANAGER (Kayla), i spoke to Kayla and she requested the SAME COC Certificate which i HAD ALREADY GIVEN TO THEM, i emailed BOTH AGAIN to her (26/07/20), a week later i phoned her to query about the progress she just told me that she was still investigating. I did mention to her about the DANGER of the my Gas Stove burning under the plate and might cause a fire if oil dripped onto the plates. I am still waiting (22/08/20) for courtesy call to inform me what is the problem or delay. I made a mistake and PURCHASED AGAIN FROM THEM FOR R12800 (DEFY DOUBLE OVEN) THIS YEAR.
