I was running my own Google Adwords campaign quite successfully. The reps from Interface Media said that they could get better results on approximately the same budget, so I signed up about 6 or 7 weeks ago. Since then I have not seen a single ad on Google, and have lost business as a result. My complaints were never attended to except for sending me meaningless statistics. I check Adwords often everyday, and ... nothing! They do not return calls, they are totally unprofessional in every way.
They are not delivering what they promised and are in breach of contract, yet say they do not cancel contracts.
Well, I don't pay for contracts that are not honoured. Why didn't I check Hello Peter before I signed?!
I received an SMS from Discovery Health on 16 April 2015 offering a free pneumococcal vaccination, presumably as I was considered at risk of getting pneumonia. I went to a local pharmacy clinic to have the vaccine, and they told me that the cost would be debited to my savings account. I contacted Discovery and this was confirmed by the consultant who took my call. I then emailed Discovery about their promise to pay for the vaccine and then reversing it as I would end up paying if it came off my savings. A few days later I received a call from a consultant at Discovery, who explained that as I a considered at risk, the cost would not be deducted from my savings, but paid from another cost centre (I can't remember which). I returned to the clinic and had the vaccine, and was surprised to find out a few days later that my savings had been used. The amount was R714.91. When I queried this by email I was advised that I was not covered for he particular vaccine that was administered. Not once prior to the vaccination was I advised that a particular vaccine was to be administered, and as a pensioner cannot afford to pay the cost of this vaccine. Subsequent email have not been answered.
