Hassle free moving
We moved from Jhb to Paarl at the end of January 2020 and Optimum did the move for us. We did our own packing but the actual move was entirely handled by Optimum. Not only were they one of the best priced companies, but did a sterling job. Both the pick up and delivery (we had to make use of a shuttle at the delivery end) went extremely well. They wrapped just about everything with protective cladding and the workers were diligent and hard working, yet always happy. They were always on time - in fact mostly a little earlier than promised. I can happily recommend Optimum Removals. Thanks for a job well done!

Mr. Second-hand
This is a one-man business and the owner Shawn Booysen does not take responsibility for anything. In fact he does not bother to return phone calls or emails. Do not ever do business with this outfit. He installs second-hand equipment but charges new prices. Keep away at all costs.

Gestapo Insure...
<p>My family and I experienced a traumatic armed robbery at our home which lasted for several hours. Most of our jewellery was stolen from a safe in the house, along with many other items, as well as my car. The claim value turned out to be quite substantial, and this led to Discovery Insure resorting to all sorts of tricks. Firstly, they tried to prove that we were under insured, and when that idea fell flat, they tried to prove that certain items should be excluded from the claim, even though the policy wording stated the contrary. They tried all sorts of intimidation tacticts and dragged the claim out for 3 full months. Eventually we settled on a lesser figure than the original claim, just to get the whole thing behind us. Their staff are generally unhelpful, uninformed, always late for meetings, and do not easily return phone calls or emails. Beware of these guys!</p>
