I have been an account holder for over ten years but the service I got at Total Sports-Eastgate was shocking. I bought swimming goggles at this branch and went for a swim once, but they were uncomfortable on my eyes. I went to the outlet to request either a refund or a replacement to my shock the manager refused me to exchange or refund me the money. I found his response so much appalling as an account holder I am even considering closing or canceling the account after I have settled the outstanding balance of something that I am not going to use it for the rest of my life.
At the Soccer City on 28/09/2024, the soccer match between Kaizer Chiefs versus Mamelodi Sundowns. The security personnel allowed the people to enter the stadium without their tickets. They also allowed people to enter with bottles, allowing the fans to throw bottles to the match officials when the decisions were unfavourable. These bottles were also dangerous to other fans as they were thrown into the field from the high stands. Such management led to the Ellis Park disaster where 43 people perished
I went to Ster-Kinekor on Tuesday 10/09/2024 in Eastgate where I booked a ticket with my seat number only to find that the seats were wet when I entered the movie room. I was told to sit in front as they had just washed the seats. I find it very unacceptable that I was not told before I book a ticket, that I must be aware that the seats are wet before booking a ticket. It has become a norm with this brand the last I had a shabby treatment in Southgate
The air-conditioning system was freezing at the Southgate Cinema cine 7 on 30 July 2024. I asked the personnel to adjust it to accommodate me, but they said i must bring a blanket. I found it very ridiculous to say the least. Such behavior cost Carlton center,newtown, Westgate branches etc to be closed. This cinema is on the verge of closure with such appalling customer service
I got a traffic fine from the municipality & I was directed to make payment through ABSA at the branch in Newmarket ALBERTON,as I got to the teller,the teller chased me away saying he can't pick up the account even it is stipulated in full digits & he directed me to go another bank. He also said next time I must get cash to make a payment & can't pay with my ABSA CREDIT CARD.
It's two months VODACOM is debting my account with no minutes whereas they are charging me R140.00 with no service whatsoever. Their consultants are very rude. They give me the 082 196 number to make further queries only to find that number is not working.My R280.00 is deducted with no service.
In 2013 I closed my cheque account with ABSA as R5000 in my account got lost & till today this matter was not resolved. We are now in 2023,the credit card which I requested 4 weeks ago till today I can't utilise my R4000 in this account. The courier did not deliver it,I then requested the card to be delivered to a branch in Westgate mall. The service was atrocious, to say the least. I came to collect the card. I waited 2 hours just to collect it. After collecting it I could not do any purchases. I returned to the branch even though there was personnel inside the branch I was not allowed I came the following day. Still I can't use the card having spent another 2 hours at the branch where they couldn't assist me. It is now 4 weeks going to the 5th week I can't still access my funds for survival. THIS IS WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED FOR THE SECOND TIME
I have made a claim that I duly deserve under my cover policy that indicates the REPLACEMENT OF LOCKS as a benefit . My car it's current locking mechanism has weakened due to the jamming that has been employed on my car in order that thieves can steal my car. I have requested the insurance for assistance to secure my car against any form of theft to replace the locking mechanism which includes the replacement of locks. My claim is not being considered even though my cover provides me the benefit to claim for it to avoid my car being vulnerable to thieves.
Just received my gold credit card via the courier. I am trying to use the card to make purchases the card is denying my card pin that i had previously before i lost the card. I tried to call the call centre. The system is asking me for a push button number that has been sent to the phone but the number is nowhere on the phone.. Very frustrated that my card is going to be blocked & now really want to make payments for my grocery.
I have been a member since 2013 till this far. I travelled 40 km to virgin active in Newmarket Alberton in Johannesburg. I was turned back because i did not have money in my bank account for a debit order. I had cash with me & i was not even given an opportunity to make a cash payment for the 20% payment on my premium. I was told i need to contact the head office on monday as they do not work on weekends This is so disappointing service not even given a grace for one day to exercise while i wait for monday to speak to head office.
