I employed the services of Quinton Griessel of Dencor Projects SA (Pty ) Ltd (reg 2016/039666/07) on 06 Sep 2018, to construct and install a wooden kitchen island countertop at my home. I paid R3000 deposit immediately and Quinton informed that it would take a week to make and install. 06 Sep: Paid deposit R3000. 14 Sep: Had an appointment to install but he never arrived. 26 Sep: After repeated messages saying he was on track to install, never arrived. 04 Oct: Never arrived for 3rd installation appointment. 12 Oct: Agreed to refund my R3000 deposit. 15, 16, 18, 23, 24 Oct: Repeatedly promised to do the refund – not done. I am now pursuing the option of recovering my deposit via the Small Claims Court. This man has repeatedly lied about being on route to install the countertop and repeatedly failed to honour his undertaking to refund the deposit that he received. He has ignored my telephone calls.

I terminated my ADT contract in November 2014, with a one month notice period. In January I was debited again with R700 (an amount exceeding my normal subscription). On 19 Jan 2015, Nandipa at ADT forwarded my request for a refund to the billing department. On 28 Jan, Nokutula escalated my request and said the refund would take 10-14 working days. On 13 Feb, Darren sent another request to the credit controller Swanie. On 19 Feb, an amount of R247 was refunded. And my request has been escalated yet again. <br> It is impossible to get a human being to call me back, never mind give me a refund. Thieving bastards!
