We ordered a lot from Paul Gibson in 2021. To date we have only received half, some of the box seals were broken when we got them and it came in drips and drabs. He still owes us R250 000. We were approached by an investigating company to get a case registered. Paid them a lot of money, gave them all the information and a case was registered and then sc****d. What I cannot understand, he is still ****ming, still trading and his website is still up. Who has he got in his back pocket for him to be getting away with this? The to and fro emails to him and the investigating company was just to much and we were getting no where. So we gave up. So where to now?
I bought a Samsung fridge from HiFi Corp with an extended warranty (which they are quick to sell you) in 2010, which expires now in November. Since 2014 this fridge had been giving problems. According to HiFi Corporation, after 3 complaints, if the fridge is not fixed, its replaced. After the 5th time now my fridge is being repaired. I have not had a fridge for 2 1/2 weeks and it has not work properly for at least 12 months. Everytime someone came to look they either replaced something which I don't know what or the last time the technician just looked at the fridge and walked out saying nothing is wrong. Once again Samsung has no stock of parts, I don't get feedback from HiFi corp who gave me a R500 voucher to use in the shop instead of giving me money to replace the groceries I had to throw away (I actually brought a black back in full of defrosted and rotten food and left it there) and the policy of the JD group to rather spend thousands to repair than to replace. All I get ever is \sorry' or 'we understand your frustration'. I think not. No one seems to want to help me. I WILL NEVER BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES OR BUY FROM HI-FI CORPORATION EVER AGAIN."
Good day<br> <br> I bought a Samsung fridge from them and took out a 5yr warrantee. It has been giving me problems since November 2014. It has been seen to twice and still the problem persists. I phoned them again today 2015/08/20 only to be told that they can only replace it after the third fix fails. No where in the warrantee does it state that. In the mean time I am losing fresh food at an alarming rate and as the freezer does its own thing, we have been eating suspect food, and hoping not to get sick. I even took them a sample which I don't think it was shown to anyone. I even complained on their website, getting a reply on 2015/08/14 saying someone will contact me. Still waiting. I don't know if this is a breach of contract or what, but its pathetic. They want to give me a stand-in fridge but that is not what I asked for. The mere fact that I am the one phoning and following up leaves me speechless and that they just say sorry and nothing else. I'm at the end of my thether.
