Wife got *****ed over, ordered a delivery for Sat 24th, we were charged R641 for order 4004404033, instead of our order of 15 items, they delivered a smaller package that included a cabbage, one packet of rice, Margerine and one or two other items. We immediately reached out once the packets were open and they told us we did not qualify for a refund. So they gave use like R100 worth of stuff for R640. Rather use Checkers 60, this never happens with that app....looking forward to reposting this.
So I app**** for insurance via the app, but then we decided to go for a broker instead (3 days later?). I tried cancelling the insurance but I was unable to via the app. I then emailed them more than once, only to get AI replies. Eventually I saw they tried to call me but they are flagged as spammers on Truecaller. I had to turn off true caller....they got through, then made me confirm my details twice, asked several times why I was cancelling, I explained I wanted everything under one insurance company. I was then put on hold for longer than was reasonable, had to hang up as I am getting calls for work. They then called me back and told me they will cancel my cover on the 19th, which is the day I started the cover. I told them I did not have cover as I did not even do the pre-inspection and had been trying to cancel for about a week and a bit. From what I could tell this was so that they could keep the approx R500 I paid for the one car, I was asking for a refund. I now realize that I would rather buy tik with that money (I do not even do drugs) than give it to Pineapple. The lady got short with me on the phone (I was being polite even though I was frustrated) and asked me "what am I not understanding". I do not recommend this service, they trap you and there is no opting out without back and forward for days. I thought it was very cheeky making me wait on the phone for reasons I still do not understand. I would like my refund and for you to remove my number from your call log. You will never get business from me again nor will I ever recommend anyone to use your trashy trap app.
Sitting without any internet since Friday. Paying a premium that they very quickly follow up on if you miss it. Where is the urgency when I need the service. Been a loyal customer for years, this is the thanks I get.
Today, I was speaking to my pregnant fiancée, she was telling me about how she was randomly craving doughnuts, but just the normal ones with the plain white glazing. As I work on the other side of town I thought I would surprize her with Mr D and some KrispyKreme doughnuts. I was on a call with a client, it was 30min in and someone was trying to call me and I did not recognize the number. After 15 more minutes the call ended. It was the delivery company, called my fiancée and told her to go get the doughnuts. A few moments later I get a call from her in tears because the driver was aggressive and rude to her. Threatened her because he could not get through to me. The ***ard lashed out her and then drove off a big strong man. I contacted these clowns to complain. Got brushed off, nobody took the complaint seriously. Got a mail for a R20 voucher. I paid R100 to get a village idiot on motorbike to threaten and verbally abuse my pregnant fiancée, for a R20 voucher and egg in my face. Mr Delivery thinks the safety of my loved ones costs around R20 and a very unbelievable sorry. I will never use this service again and invite the ***ardly ******* who dropped off the snacks to pop around while I am home so I can give him the **** klaap he so desperately needs. Your company used to be something I enjoy, its gone to ****. You will never see my money again.
I took my Samsung Note 20 Ultra there for a battery replacement. They charged me R900. Got the phone back quickly and was initially impressed. Only to get home and the phone stopped charging or coming on during the night. I brought the phone back, they then told me that the motherboard had a fault, note that the phone worked flawlessly until I brought it to them for repair. I tried calling in to find out if there had been any progress on the phone, only to find that they were call forwarding my number to avoid me. I am now standing in their shop to get my phone and it has been 30min now while they scurry to find my property that they damaged. I observed the guy sitting at the desk take the plugged in ribbon cables and put them on his tongue to check for voltage. They used an old tooth brush with what appeared to be meth spirits to clean terminals. These guys are red lights across the dash. Take your phones elsewhere.

Just spent and hour on the phone trying to get through to this company to get a quote. The other option I have is to get in my car and drive down to Longmeadow from Rosslyn. Had I known they were going to waste my time it would have been faster to just drive there. I will never deal or give these clowns my time again. Your company is shockingly terrible at customer service. During my 1 hour call I was told how you guys are looking for Dynamic and Innovative staff. Its obvious the search continues. Julle is ***.
I bought a car for my son and then paid to have a better audio system installed. The dealership then recommended and arranged the installation of the audio system. Not long after, the radio system shorted due to a fuse for the audio being cheaply mounted in a poorly selected position causing an electrical fire. Brand new car, R200k worth of damage and we are now getting a cold shoulder. We had an inspector confirm that the radio fuse, instead of being fixed in a more appropriate way, was fixed to a dirty surface using some kind of two part adhesive above the battery. Due to the poor surface condition and heat from the engine bay, the fuse came loose, shorting the positive terminal to the negative terminal damaging the entire wire harness. It was the dealerships responsibility to ensure that the installer had done the installation safely and to industry standards. If this is the kind of service one could expect from VW Bruma, then I would strongly advise against it. We will be taking this further. We ask that VW Bruma please share the contact details of the upper management of the group as well as an amicable solution. Written on behalf of the buyer

I will stay with home-connect (been with them for 6 years plus) because of the talented and dedicated support staff. I am not a customer but rather a person who very suddenly needed help. I suffered a very bad panic attack while driving past their business. I pointed out that I thought I was either having a panic attack or a stroke. Shan jumped straight into action and Perdita was right by my side the entire time calming me down, bringing me water. Thanks to them I managed to get myself back in the right space. These guys did not need to help and even went as far as offering to drive me home or to a hospital. I am forever greatful for their kindness and hospitality to a total stranger. If they are like this to total strangers, you can only imagine what they are like to their friends, family and customers. Please support these beutiful people. Thank you Shan and Perdita for making that much of a difference in a dark and scary time.
