I have a member of bid4gold for over 5years and have been paying at least R200 per month until I was unemployed and could not afford. I cancelled my investment with bid4gold in May 2017 and was told that the payment will take up to 6 month which is the 14 November 2017. What surprised me was the fact that I never received any statements even on cancellation I was never told how much did my investment accumulate. This morning I telephoned bid4gold to confirm that the payment will be made today and ask the amount. To my shock, I will be getting +/-R4500 per month I do not know for how long which is not something I agreed to. Be careful if you want to invest with this company.
Do not be fooled by Liberty Life saying they pay within 48 hours. My father passed away and as stressed as I am, I did not need more stress. However, thanks to Liberty Life. The ask me to fax supporting documents to claim funeral beenefit, after faxing iam told the documents will appear on the system the next day. The next day when I call, I am told no documents have been received, they have tracing department they can look into the matter. I then scan and email, I am told the documents have been received but that not clear. Did the same process again, I am told they are fine and have been sent to the back office, I must call them after the following day to check progress made. I guess that's where the claims are being settlee. I called as requested and I am told the documents are not clear. Yesterday they were clear today they are not. In addition, the 48 hours count down has not started. Its very sad what they are doing. Now that i know, I can see what my wife will go through the day I die hoping this policy wI'll bury me. I am convinced that those who receive payouts that use the money to pay back loans that they took to bury their loved ones.
