Since August 2025, I have been submitting cancelation requests for my rain package but every month the keep taking the money from my account. At this point I feel like taking legal action.
Since the end of August - Mid September, I have been requesting a call back to cancel a rain subscription, which it seems is being ignored. I was "upgraded" to a newer model router but the old one was never removed from my account. Despite my efforts to have the old subscription removed from my account, Rain has been collecting payment for both routers. I even tried canceling through the app but conveniently my collection address does not appear In their search bar.
I've posted a review about this company before which seems to be the only way to have them not ignore you. Since December 2024 I've had little to no connectivity and every time I manage to get through to the call centre they give me the same generic troubleshooting method which does nothing but waste my time. Then I'm told the problem has been escalated to their technical department but I never get a call back from their technical department. I even requested a cancelation call back, hoping I might get a call back but they just ignore that as well.
Ive been receiving threatening emails from this company, stating I have 2 unpaid fines but when I ask for information about these fines I get no response. I feel this is a **** as I have renewed my vehicle license last month and there was no mention of any fines.
I feel sad to have to write this because when I first started using rain internet, I had no complaints but for the last 3 months they just went down hill. For 3 months I haven't had any internet connection and Im not receiving any support from them. Ive probably logged 100+ support tickets which they just ignore. When I call their support centre, Im put on hold for over an hour and when someone eventually answers it is always the same 3 troubleshooting steps which don't work and I still have no internet connection. At this point I might as well just cancel my rain subscription since Im paying for nothing.
If I could give -5 stars I would. I am highly disgusted with this medical aid. They deduct the premium whenever they feel like it, sometimes twice in one month, but never on the agreed apon date. I canceled my vitality membership more than a month ago yet they stil deduct the membership fee.
I would not recommend. I lost my job because my emails for help and a representative were being ignored and had to wait on hold until my airtime eventually ran out. They didn't even call me back to try and find out why I called in the first place. Now that I want to cancel my membership because I'm clearly paying for nothing, I'm being ignored yet my money is still being taken.
