This past Saturday was the Color Run 2015 at Centurion Rugby Club it was a blazing hot day outside at 33C. At 2.5Km there was going to be a Water Point where we could get something to drink. When we arrived at the Water Point there was NO WATER, if it was not for the people living in the area with their hosepipes watering their grass we would have dehydrated. I had my 4 year old son with me and their where many people with their children.
The Color Run is one of the most expensive Fun Walk/Run events they charge R250 per person witch I understand due to the colour dust etc. But you should at least be able to get a drink of Water at the Water Point at that price. I feel that it is completely unacceptable to pay R250 for a ticket and not receive a Drop of Water, it is absolutely ridiculous.
I have done quit a couple of fun walks the PnP Pink Drive you received water and cold drink at every 1km and at the Finish line and they only charged R50pp.
I think the organizers of the Color Run 2015 at the Centurion Rugby Club should be very ashamed about how poorly they arranged the event.
