The Gumtree advert said I could get a Lenovo M73 for R2400. I arrived at the shop late on Friday afternoon and requested an M73. The salesman, Garon, went to the back and brought a small black box. He drew up an invoice which stated that they were selling me a M73. I was in a hurry and left.

When I got home and showed someone the machine, they pointed out to me that the box given to me was not an M73, but a lower model M72e. I specifically wanted the M73 because it has faster USB ports and wireless.

The next day I returned to the shop at Giant Value Center, and queried - their reply was that they do have M73, but it costs R400 more. I stated that when I had come into the shop the day before I had asked for an M73 and I had been asked for R2400 cash - if they knew the higher end model was R2800 why didn't they ask for that amount then?

When I said the advert had said M73, Garon said sorry, the advert had been mistakenly entered \by a colleague"and had been fixed now. I have a screenshot of the original advert. """
