OVERPRICED PHOTOCOPY SERVICE

My daughter went in to have her CV and Thesis printed. She asked the owner, Sandy I believe, to please make copies in colour. I had the week before, just had the same set of printing,in colour, copied at Postnet in Paulshof. This cost me R127.00. My daughter asked for 3 sets to be copied. Yes, Sandy did double check that she wanted it in colour, my daughter said yes. I can only put it down to pure LAZINESS, but Sandy then put all the documents in the colour printer and printed and bound the 3 sets as requested. She did make a comment that \this is going to be expensive. Now, expensive is a relative term. I thought in the region of R500.00. I then left to attend to other errands. She finished the job and swiped the credit card R1995.00!!!<br> When I went back to query, now being somewhat irate, I was told that she charged R6.50 per page, even though the document was printed back to back - the price for that was R12.50. As I pointed out, the majority of the document was black, with a heading only in Blue colour. As a comparison, Postnet charge R4.20 for a partial colour page. Of the one document totaling 35 pages, 26 of those pages were Black only. Arrogance!!<br> "
