The reference number is 929461 for the first complaint from someone from FNB....

Im basically complaining again because it seems to be the only way FNB ever gets to get things fix. i was promised a call back on the 24/05/2016 with regards to my first complaint and i received no call which im very disappointed about. I need my money back or my R70 airtime.

Ref: 1107200NF that's the reference number for my complaint lodged on the 22nd of May. It's been over 24-48 hours now. I've even called in to check and was advised they would send off the request to your back office to contact MTN. I never received my airtime of R70 I purchased using my cellphone banking. FNB should either refund my R70 back asap. I'm so disappointed at what happened. I recently joined FNB and my experience hasn't rather been one of the best

Hi there,

I hope this email finds you well.

My account has been overdue and suspended even after I made arrangements on the account.

I have so many complaints with MTN and while I'm writing this I'm fuming with anger and so hurt by the customer service MTN provides its customers.

I work for a international calls centre and such behaviours are not even acceptable. It's so tiring that South African call centers can never provide good customer service. It's actually pathetic. Who ever does training needs training first.

I can't even remember how many times I've called MTN and have the agents say whatever they want with no sense of sympathy or empathy whatsoever. I remember this other day I even asked the agent if I was being pranked because I couldn't believe how rude they were to me. It was shocking.

I'l get to the point of my issue.

I spoke to a lot of agents from MTN on the 08/04/2016 and I manged to get assistance from one who I made an arrangement with. I'm currently in arrears with my account and I had explained a million times before that I'm currently unemployed because i had to go back to school so i work part time and earn very little money. I try by all means to pay when I can. I have two numbers on the account and the second number is for my younger sister who I mentioned to her mother that she needs to start paying the account because I cannot afford it anymore.

I basically spent nearly an hour speaking to the agent that day and she unsuspended my line and I had mentioned I'd make a payment month end of April.

Today on the 25/04/2016 I got suspended again by MTN and I'm travelling home on the 27th. My mother is diabetic and is probably worried sick about me because when people call me it goes straight to voicemail.

Today I spoke to Simphiwe Mthembu an agent who could not assist me and i asked her to escalate it to her manager and because there were no managers on duty I spoke to Cenotia Sipho who says she is a supervisor....she mentioned they are based in the Johannesburg call center in Roodebourt(not sure if its spelt correctly) and they have advised me that the agent i nicely spoke to one the 08/04/2016 left no notes on the account and they do not know how they unsuspended my life. I won't lie in chuckled. It's so shocking that they didn't know. Clearly this meant in other words I was talking nonsense.

I must say the shock I got was hilarious that agents at MTN leave no notes on the account at all which would help give better understanding of the issue at hand and history of the account when a customer calls in to avoid the customer repeating their sad long boring stories.

I asked one simple question. Clearly they can see my account was suspended and on the 08/04/2016 someone at MTN restored my line and left no notes on the account. How is that possible. I spoke to probably three people at MTN that on the 08th and only one person I spoke to by the name of Nomawambho Matyikiza left a note on the account.

Mtn employees have no empathy at all and they lack customer service!!!! The supervisor Cenotia Siphoro simply told me that I created the arrears on my account. Huh!!! The nerve!!! I asked her to check the accounts to see if there's any notes explaining my unemployment in the system and she said there's no record. Which simply proves my point. MTN SUCKS.

How can an employed trained supervisor say such to a customer. With such confidence even.

When I asked her to give me her name and all the people I spoke to she seemed not to care at all because obviously she knew I'm just wasting my time and because I created these charges purposely

It was last year while my friends and I decided to take a vacation and we all decided to meet in Port Elizabeth. We visited a lot of places and did a lot of activities.

I'm currently based in Cape Town and being in the Eastern cape felt so good. We had so much fun until we visited The Lighthouses. I remember Rudby was playing that day and we wanted to watch the game and have drinks. South Africa won that day so it was just an amazing evening.

Because obviously we not from Port Elizabeth we asked people where we could watch them game and they recommend The Lighthouse to us. We had a bottle of Jameson so we decided to bring it with. We watched the match and then we started to drink. It was the day before I was meant to travel back to Cape Town. I bought ciders from the bar worth R500 and dash for the bottle.

We went to go find a place to sit. Most people had left because the match was over. We sat a big table with couches. It was comfortable and we were happy. I had a black cap on so I saw this white guy sending this black guy with dreads to come to me. So then the guy tells me to take my cap off because no caps are allowed after 7pm. Then I told him oh that's fine I didn't know because I'm not from here. Then we had a conversation about the game. 5 mins later the white guy comes to us and takes the bottle of Jameson. He literally doesn't say a word and simply just takes it. 5 mins later again he comes back and tells us to leave. So we sitting there shocked thinking his joking but we then realised he wasn't joking. We apologise ad tell him we didn't know you can't come in with alcohol and that we not from here. We hadn't even drank the ciders we bought and we were being chased away. We asked to leave with the alcohol and jewellery refused and took the alcohol then we asked him to then refund us our money and he refused. We were so confused with the type of treatment we got. It's like he didn't want us that. Now we all getting angry because everything was just confusing. At least give us a refund for the alcohol we bought it mean it was worth R500. You took our bottle plus our alcohol what nonsense is this. Surely this is not how you treat people that visit your place. And why only come after 5 mins without even communicating with us and none of us had even drank the bottle because we had no glasses. We begged and we got nothing.

I lost R500 that day and I believe I was treated unfairly and will definitely never go there ever In my life and sometimes you wonder if it's not because of the colour of your skin
