VERY disappointed
My 18yr old blind cat has been eating Petleys chicken pate for the last 4 years. She won't eat anything else. The chicken Pate now CANNOT be called a pate. It is very rough, has huge chunks of what appears to be windpipe (not even broken down at all) small hard lumps of something indefinable, and this week I found two pieces of what could have been thin leather, carboard or who knows what? I sent an email to their "careline" but over a week later, I have not yet received even the courtesy of a reply. I am now desperately looking for something else to feed my old , and very fussy, cat

Opening a can to suggestion
Rotten and mouldy pet food in can upon opening. Due/bb date 2023.Complaint only apparently logged on 16/08/2021 when they received my pics via mail although it was reported almost 2 weeks ago. Still have the contents in fridge in my garage as Promeal has the option to make arrangements to collect if necessary. Haven't heard from them ever since. I am a very impatient person when I am treated in this manner as a consumer.,and I expect answers promptly.Clearly it needs investigation as the entire batch could be contaminated.

Petleys Salmon Cat food
After complaining about the quality of the Salmon flavoured cat food in the Petleys range, An-Mari has kept in contact with me regularly and provided test results from their laboratories regarding the food quality which could still be improved further for future manufacture runs. I would like to say a big thank you to Petleys for exceeding my expectations in replacing the food that I had had to throw away and the customer service from An-Mari, something that many companies in our country lack currently. Well done and thank you again.

Petleys Salmon Cat food
After complaining about the quality of the Salmon flavoured cat food in the Petleys range, An-Mari has kept in contact with me regularly and provided test results from their laboratories regarding the food quality which could still be improved further for future manufacture runs. I would like to say a big thank you to Petleys for exceeding my expectations in replacing the food that I had had to throw away and the customer service from An-Mari, something that many companies in our country lack currently. Well done and thank you again.

Bones and Cartilage in Petleys Co**** Pate Cat food
Very disappointed in the Petleys co**** pate Salmon cat food, have noticed and sent emails with photos of the poor quality cat food to their consumer department. Have received only one reply with a nonchalant attitude of we will look into it. The cat food in question is supposed to be a co**** pate of salmon, however lately it full of short bones, spinal bones, Cartalidge shaped like shark teeth about 10mm in length as well as weird looking tubes of some matter that cannot be broken or mashed. For the price of each tin of Petleys, I would at least expect a good quality of food inside the tin, this tin of bones and cartilage etc is very annoying and expensive and I am ending up throwing it away as none of my cats will eat it. Maybe one day their customer service will respond.

Very grareful for your proffesanilsim .
<p>I would like to thank An-Marie for her proffeslism and helpfullness as i had experience a problem with there product but she was all focused on giving good customer service and trying to keep me happy as the customer for that i say thank you as a consumer there is no customer service in Soutf Africa no more my cat Cleo will enjoy her petleys cat food that was given to her as a gift , once again thank you . </p> <p> </p> <p>Kind regards </p> <p>Latiefa </p>

New recipe
I am dissappointed that the recipe of your top selling cat food has been changed, despite the appearance of being well packaged and attractive to the eye. Unfortunately, the contents falls short of the originally marketed cat food that Petley's is known for. I smell cereal in the new cat food, which my cats refuse to eat. I can understand that perhaps the change has come about as a result of demand, but is that not a good marketing tool. Many of the cat lovers will be scouting around for another cat food that will be enjoyed by their cats. <br> <br> Please reconsider going back to your old recipe as it is a winner. Nestle adopted the same approach with Pampers for cats, with the result their cat food sits on the shelves unsold, which cat food at one time was a best seller.<br> <br> Please don't spoil a good product with sub-standard contents.<br> <br>

Petleys Cat food change in recipe?
Sadly I am also reporting a change in the recipe of the Petley Cat food and wonder what is going into the tin? <br> My cat loves Petleys and has been eating it for a good year and a half. In the new tins I collected from Spar this week, he has put his nose up and wont eat. I went and bought him some giblets as he wont eat any of the tinned food now!! What are they putting in the food now, cats know if there is a change. Would appreciate a member of staff letting us know what is changed in the recipe?
