Well, I gather I must have touched a nerve with Clint Riddin & Associates, and Property Exponents, as they managed to get my original review removed. What can I say, other than that both have terrible and questionable service and business practices. Don't think this breaches any content guidelines. Best wishes and good luck to anybody having to deal with them.

Charles Keefer and his Property Exponents continue to be devious, misleading, ************ and with absolutely zero ethics or morals. I just wish he'd be honest with owners and explain the real reason for his 'departure'. Does it has anything to do with possible repercussion with the disgustingly terrible reprimanding last year of a young lady ? Suppose it doesn't matter, as his protegee by the name of Clint Riddin is taking over and will do exactly the same. Wonder if his company CRA (Clint Riddin and Associates) will be taking over fro Property Exponents. Certainly see a few 'moves' with emails from his company. So something is in motion

Charles Keefer and his gang of bullies have been pulling the wool over owners eyes for years, and especially the trustees. This review is in specific response to Raj M positive review. I am delighted that you have had a good experience with Property Exponent. However, I will not be surprised when you return to leave a negative review once he has failed to attend to something specific to yourself - either through ignorance, incompetence, favoritism, etc. Too much of his business activities as a managing agent are laced with buddy-buddy agreements, kick backs, 'preferred' service providers, and the likes. He is essentially the 'property agent' element of this Property Mafia/Syndicate.

I am surprised by the other reviews. Property Exponents seem both efficient and capable in my building (Fores**** Place). Of course it could be that it is a simple difference of building, but they certainly do not seem to deserve the negative reviews that I see here.

As per other reviews on this site, and others, I can only confirm their comments. Property Exponents do operate their business model managing estates like ***** Concentration Camps. Paul Ash, the Estate Manger as Ashton Park, operates it as a Camp Warden, and has gained a nickname 'The *****' I hope the owners vote for a change in Camp Warden at the next AGM - otherwise these reviews are going to negatively impact the resale and rental values.

Just to let everybody know, I have been renting a Property in The Square in Cape Town CBD for a year and a half and the service I have received in my dealings with Property Exponents has been Extremely Poor. They do not do much as far as maintenance goes on the building, the lift and Foyer are always filthy. there attitude towards dealing with Infestation is very weak which means every flat has an infestation problem which is at the residents expense, this is totally ridiculous for the rent prices required. I had to send about 10-20 Emails regarding noise from other residents in the building and about 10 phone calls and 4 to 5 months later for it to 95% Stop, there is the usual noise when living in a block of flats which is manageable. I don't think they offer much value and are not very happy to assist or friendly people to deal with Generally. They also manage The Four Seasons and the Garage to the Ba*****t has been broken for 2 - 3 Months & the Lifts are continually breaking, there is no where to sit at the Pool on the 17th Floor and neither are there umbrellas at The Square and at The Four Seasons. Not pleasant dealing with anyone that is managing or doing work in relation to the building as well as the Estate Agent working in the Building (Martin Nel) It has taken me a while to get to write this review but I feel people are paying a lot of money in these apartments and Expect a Decent Service.

A serious warning to anyone wanting to rent from the Mayfair or Manhattan - Century City , Don’t ! At the Mayfair there are endless harassment issues by their body corporates run by Charles of Property exponents! They have ****ed cats with non environmentally conscious rat poison . They have trapped dogs inside clamped Bakkie’s that are stuck against parking walls so that the dogs can’t get out and have been stuck for hours while the security have changed shifts . They fine you thousands of rands if you put your dogs basket on the balcony . Chris a resident and trustee on the body Corporate takes photographs of you sun tanning . They discriminate against people with disabilities heavily! There is on going theft of any door matt or pot plants or anything that is outside . The security have more rights than the residents and Mercia de villiers the manager is never available when needed yet constantly makes life unpleasant with the chip on her shoulder . Complete concentration camp ! Disgusting abuse of authority. Never rent here or from any property exponents building . Never buy either because you will not be able to hang onto tenants . These places are getting an awful reputation.
