Property legends agents ,if you are going to keep listing properties on property24 then you need to start communicating with your clients. It is very rude to list a property and ignore clients. I wasn’t ignored by one person but 3 agents from your company. Or is there a criteria that is followed by your agents that we don’t know?

After reading the other reviews i can see Property Legends has a VERY BAD reputation. We were shown the property in Tileba in October 2024 by Louise and she pressured us to made deposit payments ASAP as the property is well liked, my husband asked her if the owner will be selling the property etc as we were looking for a long term lease, to which she said no, the next day their was a listing on Property 24 and the house is being sold... The owner received no interest and the property was removed. Two months pass and we did not receive a municipality account as Louise (the "smartest" agent of all times) gave my email address incorrect to the office and they did not follow up with payment or anything, so the prepaid meter was block and as when we phoned them the fight began with big mouth Corne (must useless financial manager) and Charles, at the end of the day the took our deposit as settled the WHOLE municipality account (also the landlord's rates and taxes), we started to pay the rent, municipality account and repay the deposit and three months along the line we got a water account of R8000.00 (we know Tshwane does not read) so it was a estimate reading. I refused to pay and lodged a call with Tshwane to rectify and then we go a lawyers letter and a Notice to Vacate the property. Corne told me to just pay the account, to which i asked her, if we pay and the correction was made by Tshwane will her landlord credit me, and i got a blank NO. Needless to say, Tshwane rectified the account and after a huge fight the withdrew the attorneys and the Notice to Vacate. It does not end their. Two months after that we receive a WhatsApp message from Aida to ask if they can we the property as the Landlord is selling. Property Legends know NOTHING about it (according to them). The agent from Aida got instruction from the Landlord in March 2025 already, but was asked by Property Legends to only contact us end of September. They also took R 3590.00 from my deposit to pay the lawyers (without my consent) on action that they did not proceed on and now Corne is refusing to put it back into my deposit, so we gave them notice and knowing that we will not receive our deposit back we confirmed they can keep the deposit as half a months rent and for what ever repairs are needed, two days later we received a letter from the lawyers again. A complaint was lodged with the rental tribunal, the estate agency board and the law society

Charles from Property Legends did not want to assist when a house he is renting out has caused my drain to be blocked seriously. He was sarcastic and when I wanted to make a voice note of our conversation he stated sarcastically I am not the FBI and then blashemously referred to Jesus causing the blockage. I am shocked and appauled as older person being treated in this manner.

So we moved in on one of Property Legends units that we rented. Our move in date was October 2023. We leased the property from them up until April 2025 . I was a very good tenant and always paid my rent on time and utility's on time. Our lease agreement came to a end April 2025 and I did not renew . I did the move out inspection with the agent and I waited for them to pay my deposit. After a week I followed up and they said they have between 7 to 14 working days to pay out my deposit . So after the 7th day I followed up again and the informed me that they are waiting for a maintance invoice. I then inquired about it and it came out that the got a company to paint out the bedrooms and the lounge area and the ceiling of the bathroom. I told them that the place looked like that when we moved in 2023 and that they need to double check the move in inspection with the move out inspection. They then got back to me and said the ceiling issue in the bathroom will be taken off but as for the repainting off the walls they will still deduct it from deposit . I sent back a email to say that I am not happy and they got back to me and basically said I can take the matter up with the renting tribunal. It has been more than 14 days and I am still waiting for my deposit. I have lodged a legal complaint with the PPRA and I hope they will be able to assist because R 7 700.00 is a lot of money and Property Legends just do as they please without communicating it with tenants

I am writing to formally complaint regarding the handling of our deposit deductions by Property Legends Braam Pretoruis Street Magalieskruin. There was no pre-inspection conducted when we received the keys and moved into the flat. Now, Property Legend agency is deducting money for damages that were left behind by the previous tenant, which is completely unfair. Furthermore, their agent visited the premises multiple times while showing potential tenants the property and never raised any concerns with us. At no point were we informed that they were obtaining cleaning quotations. Additionally, we have a garden service maintaining the premises weekly, and they could have been asked to trim the bushes if necessary. This situation is unacceptable.

The rental management company, Property Legends, prioritizes its own financial interests and those of the property owner, completely disregarding the well-being of tenants like myself. The company subjected us to deplorable, unlivable conditions - forcing us to use buckets for cooking and bathing, dealing with a foul drainage stench, a broken stove, a leaking ceiling that took over a year to fix, being charged for outstanding municipal bills after moving in, and various other maintenance issues such as leaking pipes and taps, unstable windows hinges, loose door handles, and unstable electrical plugs. Now, Property Legends is wrongfully withholding my security deposit, claiming the need for repairs and a replacement of a used door (that was left outside by the owner when we moved in), despite an inspection that only indicated a need for basic wall cleaning. When I attempted to schedule this cleaning and get a quote for the used door that was ruined by our dog, Property Legends failed to facilitate access to the property, stating they did not receive a response from the owner. Ultimately, it is the tenant who suffers the consequences of Property Legends' negligence and unfair practices.

Signed a 12months contract with these people, knowing that my rent includes water, one month down the line I receive an email stating that I am liable to pay for water, mind you I still have screenshots from when I asked the agent that assisted me that says “water is included in the rent” so 1st December I gave in my 20 days notice to move out as stated on the contract that prior moving out you need to give in 20 days notice and I also paid my full month rent. So now I get an email that states that I will get penalised for early termination and they will be taking more than half of my deposit. Whereas I am entitled to my full deposit. I will be taking them to court and all social media platforms. I have proof of everything

Guys if you are a forginer and want to rent an apartment then this company is not going to help you.such a bad experience I faced while dealing with them. The state agent is not going to entertain. Phone them , message them but no response. Even if you have a valid documents they will decline your request. The funny thing is that the state agent said that the landlord is not going to rent the flat anymore and now after two weeks the flat is still on advertise. Now from that day I can understand what they did all the horrible act during apartheid. This company is totally racesist
