My experience with Quicksure has been nothing short of infuriating. After my phone was ****** in a violent incident, I still comp**** with every requirement, submitted all documents promptly, and followed every step in good faith, all while recovering from the trauma. Nearly a month later, I remain without a replacement device, not because of any fault on my part but due to Quicksure’s rigid, bureaucratic processes. Instead of the straightforward cash payout I clearly requested, I was issued a restrictive “ClaimsCard” that cannot be used online or combined with my own funds in-store. This system traps clients’ money and removes all flexibility to replace essential items. Insurance should ease recovery, not amplify distress. Quicksure’s approach has been unclear, disempowering, and frankly, anti-consumer.

I have been a loyal Volvo owner for five years with a full service history, ensuring my car is always well-maintained. Unfortunately, my experience with Quicksure (Volvo’s insurance partner) has been extremely disappointing and has left me stranded multiple times. After a routine service at CMH Volvo Cape Town in April 2025, my car suffered a mechanical breakdown in the Karoo—issues that were not due to my fault. Despite paying premium insurance for years, Quicksure: Refused to refund my overnight accommodation costs while my car was being recovered. Denied me a courtesy vehicle while my car was in for repeated repairs (they only provided one for 6 days initially). Left me without reliable transport, even though the breakdowns were clearly related to workshop negligence, not my own actions. To make matters worse, I had paid R2,500 for a "360 check" that failed to prevent the breakdown, yet Quicksure wouldn’t cover the costs or assist properly. My car has been in and out of the workshop multiple times for the same issue, proving their incompetence.

I asked for a quotation on a new vehicle that I wanted to purchase, instead I had the new vehicle added onto my insurance. I also queried about having my premium looked at for a discounted rate and got told that I don't qualify for a reduced price although I'm with the insurance company for about 4 years

I registered a claim on the 31st March 2025 due to a power surge we suffered on the 1st April I received a updated policy schedule with added excesses and a increased premium I acted the increase and proceeded my claim. I was sent a claim form which I filled out I actually removed am item because it started working again I informed t insurance company about the change. A week later I was asked to get a letter from my municipal office showing there was planned outage the municipal office confirmed there was a power surge due to a unplanned repair, the next three days no response from Quicksure then I was asked to allow one of their service provider to asses the TV they guys come out took e TV away and sent a report 30 days later I am now being told their service provider who they have been using has submitted thr report in an incorrect format 2 days later and they still awaiting the report in the requested format how do they expect a client whose premiums up to date have to wait so long for a TV to be replaced my neighbours who are eih outsurance had their items replaced in 3 days this is my 3rd claim and everytime I have to run around getting documents forms etc every week it's a new delay or excuse at 70 years old I expected soe sort of assistance

Worked with Samantha Young, I had a problem with a claim, but she sorted it out quickly. Great service!
