RaceChip on my Raptor V6
I recently purchased the RaceChip GTS for my Ford Raptor V6 and I’m absolutely impressed with the performance gains! The throttle response and power delivery are noticeably sharper, making the drive far more exciting. The team was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process—excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

RaceChip on my Raptor V6
I recently purchased the RaceChip GTS for my Ford Raptor V6 and I’m absolutely impressed with the performance gains! The throttle response and power delivery are noticeably sharper, making the drive far more exciting. The team was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process—excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Unprofessional, Dishonest, Rude and Arrogant
Hi guy's. I had my vehicle performance chip installed at RaceChip based in Ballito, KZN. Initially they installed the incorrect unit which kept on sending the vehicle into lymph mode ( safety mode). However the unit was later replaced at the cost of my inconvenience. The new performance chip was not installed professionally and one of the connector cable fell onto a heating pipe causing it to melt and fuse together with the original vehicle connector. I then contacted RaceChip and spoke to the manager/owner Dennis who was nothing but unhelpful. He was rude, arrogant and refused to accept responsibility for his poor installation. The consequences for me was that I could have lost the warranty on my vehicle ( which was relatively still new). Racechip gives you a guarantee however they won't honor or keep up to their word. Dennis tried to pass blame onto me, blaming me for interfering with the chip, which I have no technical knowledge about. He eventually went onto blaming the vehicle agents for interfering with the RaceChip. The RaceChip cost me initially R6800 when installed. Due to RaceChip installation error, it cost me close to R10k to have the problem repaired. DO NOT support this company as they are dishonest, rude and arrogant. You are better off choosing an alternate performance company.

Poor Customer Service by RaceChip South Africa.
I would not recommend purchasing a race chip from RaceChip South Africa. I purchased the RaceChip RS+ unit which RaceChip claimed would increase the power and torque outputs of my vehicle by at or close to 25 kW and 50 nM respectively. Following installation and driving of my vehicle, I did no note any improvement in performance. I informed RaceChip after which they requested that I run my vehicle on a dyno. I ran it on a dyno and as I suspected, there was no improvement in performance. In fact, instead, it seems it was having a negative impact on my vehicle's torque performance. My vehicle is the 92 kW Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost trend. I sent the evidence to RaceChip who then noted they would send the evidence to the German head office. It was agreed that the product would be returned and my refund processed as the product did not do what RaceChip South Africa claimed it would. This was around 16.02.2023. It is now 17.04.2023 and, despite the race chip being returned, I have still not received my refund. My recommendation based on my experience with RaceChip South Africa is to avoid purchasing it altogether because once you provide evidence that the product doesn't work, their customer service becomes utterly useless. I have subsequently done a stage 1 remap to my vehicle, and this has actually made a difference. I had a 12.4 kW increase in power and a 44 nM increase in torque, which was confirmed using a dyno. And the difference can also be felt with everyday driving.

Racechip excellent service
I installed a unit during 2019 and were very impressed with the performance and fuel consumption. The unit failed to function properly two weeks ago and I sent it back. I have already received it back in good working order. If you need more performance or fuel consumption, Racechip is the way to go Thanks Wesley
