On Saturday I attended my 5th Breakers Brunch experience at Tobago’s Restaurant at the beautiful Radisson Collection Waterfront Hotel and I can truly say that this is the vibiest brunch experience ever! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it and want to give a huge shoutout to the staff, especially Luyanda that made it all possible. Not once did he grow impatient with me while constantly making a thousand changes to my booking but he also made sure the 3 people in our party get a nice birthday treat and came to greet us on the day of the event. Someone else I must mention, is our waitress Zaunte, she really looked after us and has such a bubbly aura around her! If you’re looking for a brunch to do with friends, family or even colleagues with an awesome vibe and the most beautiful view of the ocean book the Breakers Brunch at Radisson! You won’t regret it. Due to Radisson Hotel Cape Town Fores**** not being listed on Hello Peter, I selected the one nearest to it. During my stay, iv had to complain more than 5 times for somebody to sort out the air conditioning in my room which kept on heating the room as opposed to cooling it on a hot day. The hotel staff was very nonchalant about assisting me and did very little to make my stay comfortable. This will be the last time I stay at a Radisson. Needless to say. I got no sleep.

Poor Experience at the Boujee Brunch - sent an email to the property on the 6 February 2024 - I followed up and received a response on the 8 February this response - in my view really just invited me to the next event which was valentines day, I declined as we already had plans, I then attempted to contact the property and F&B managers again, I called numerous occasions and requested to speak to the GM aswell, which I was then told he would contact me the Monday, this did not happen either. Further to my last email on the 12 February the hotel staff or management team, has still not acknowledged neither called or made contact relating to the complaint. Such disregard for guest feedback and failure to address legitimate concerns is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the reputation of your establishment. During our visit to the property on Saturday for the Boujee "Dubai Style" Brunch, I appreciated the pleasant ambience. However, following my brief interaction with the Weekend Duty Manager and Natasha Shetty, I must express my disappointment regarding certain aspects of the experience. Firstly, the quality of the spread was below expectations. The seafood on the coals appeared mushy and unappetizing, and I found the teriyaki sauce to be ill-suited for the prawns. Considering the standards associated with Radisson Blu, I found this aspect to be lacking. Furthermore, the absence of sushi at 3:00 pm, with no prior communication from the waitress regarding the cessation of food replenishment after this time, was disappointing. As the brunch is advertised to run from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, this deviation from expectations was notable. It is important to note that the only time a waitress was at our table was when she collected payment and collect glasses that were not empty which resulted in another trip to a drinks vendor. This was frustrating to say the lease. At 3:45 pm, when we sought to order additional drinks, we were informed that last orders had already been taken, despite the advertised end time of the brunch being 4:00 pm. This inconsistency was concerning. Additionally, the oysters at 1:30 pm were not fully presented, and the same was observed with the salmon. Such inconsistencies detract from the overall dining experience. In summary, while the ambiance, music, and drinks contributed positively to the event, the food quality did not meet expectations. It felt as though we paid for an enjoyable social gathering with music and beverages, rather than a culinary experience of the standard anticipated. received a response

We had lunch there with friends on a weekday when the restaurant was not at all fully booked. Despite the staff being friendly, the service was lousy. We waited an hour to be served our order which consisted of 3 different salads and a pasta. The salads were poorly presented and dressed and the pasta was sticky and garnished with stale Parmesan which made it inedible. None of us finished our meal. This is very disappointing for a restaurant which is meant to be in the top category. Except for the wonderful situation, it is no credit to Cape Town which has many very good restaurants offering much better value.

I recently enjoyed an excellent stay at this hotel. Thank you for a luxurious, well-organised, friendly, helpful, overall amazing experience. From the guy at the entrance gate through reception , cleaning staff , restaurant, spa … amazing service. We will most definitely return.

Take note that this hotel is supposed to be a 5 star hotel. We booked a Sunday lunch for a guests birthday. We booked 2 weeks ahead of time by physically going to the restaurant for a light meal. When booking, we were offered a set menu or a' la carte. We booked a set menu for 9 guests. When we arrived the table was not ready and there was no set menu. The restaurant was also not fully booked in fact it was probably half full. Some items on the a' la carte menu were also not available. The waiter got some orders mixed up. And to top it all, we were charged for items on the bill we did not order. Except for location, this hotel, service and quality of food deserves a 1 star rating. But that's not all. My wife got food poisoning from a chicken dish and was sick for 5 days. What a disaster!! Do not try this restaurant - ever.

The Radisson Blu Sea Point Cape Town. I have a couple from Australia who booked in March a 5 night stay to get at the hotel today to get told that the rooms have been double booked. I would understand if it was two over bookings but 12. It is the worst and then they want to send you to a hotel which is not finish built and is still under construction.

I upgraded from a standard room to a family room, waited from 11 o'clock till 5 o'clock the room was not ready, the room service guys really don't want to work, do they have a manager managing them , just to change the curtains took the entire day, the service is patetic to say the rest, I truly did not expect such poor service from such a reputable hotel. I felt maybe because of my skin colour thus why I was treated the way I was treated, I guess I'm too black for the hotel. If you are black stay away from Radisson Blu waterfront
