I am writing to lodge a serious complaint about the appalling treatment I received during my recent stay at your hotel, the Radisson Hotel & Convention Centre near O.R. Tambo Airport. From the very moment I walked in, the service was nothing short of disgraceful. There was no welcome, no assistance, and absolutely no sense of urgency from your staff. I was not helped with something as basic as the WiFi, and when I attempted to get assistance over the phone from my room, not a single call was answered. It’s as if customer service is completely absent at your hotel. To add insult to injury, the room I was given was located ridiculously far from reception — completely impractical and inconsiderate. The room was booked for two people, yet everything provided was for one: one towel, one cup, one set of amenities — no thought, no attention to detail, and no effort to ensure guest comfort. There were no basic amenities expected of a reputable hotel brand. The only redeeming part of this entire experience was the shuttle service. Thapelo, in particular, was professional, courteous, and efficient — a rare display of ethics and work pride in an otherwise shockingly disappointing hotel experience. I expected far better from a Radisson hotel. Instead, I was met with neglect, indifference, and a total lack of basic hospitality. I demand a formal response and appropriate compensation for this unpleasant stay. If this matter is not taken seriously, I will not hesitate to share my experience publicly across multiple platforms.

Service gets a 0 star for the record. This hotel is extremely useless due to its staff who are absolutely clueless. My journey began with a clueless guy named Polite at the front desk who is far from polite and told me that my room wasn't ready early which I accepted. He said all the rooms are fully booked. When I phoned earlier in the day (and a few months prior) I had asked for an early check in which was accepted. They simply overbook and then make people wait in long lines because rooms aren't ready. They told me my 2 rooms would definitely be ready at least an hour before 3pm. So I sat at their restaurant and spent a fee which was exorbitant for some basic food. Then came back to Mr Polite to find my rooms were still not available. I promptly threw a tantrum and management stepped in. The manager was a black male who was ****** and rude. He used a derogatory remark towards my mother and I said I would escalate the matter for sure then he quickly removed himself and hid somewhere and left a woman named Naomi to save face for him. I had previously spoken to this Naomi woman months prior about room availability and she gave me certain promises she never kept to. I told her I wanted my money back and am leaving this disgraceful place. She quickly gave me 2 executive suites to save face and prevent further action being taken and she promptly apologized for the manager's disgusting behaviour in the lift. This establishment is a clown show. Never ever go here for your sanity. It is not fit to be labeled a Radisson hotel. They will take 5 hours to just clean your bathroom.

I booked 4 nights at this hotel hoping to get some peace and quiet and I must say I am totally disappointed. This was my first and definitely last time there. 4 nights of total waste. So not value for money

I want to bring to your attention that, was not satisfied with the decorations done in our room and ask for a refund. On 15th of March 2022, I came to Radisson Blu O.R to arrange for decorations in our room to surprise my husband on his birthday, which was on 17th of March 2022. When we got there on 17 March 2022 we found a few old rose petals, on our bed and the side drawers. I have attached the picture. My expectation was fresh rose petals on the bed, bathroom with those small candles and on the floor as we came in. I do this for my husband every year and I have never seen something like this:-( I have attached a picture of the bed with decoration. I brought this to Bertha's attention on 18 March 2022 as we were checking out and she asked me to send her the picture on WhatsApp. I haven't heard from her since that day. Your response with this regards is highly appreciated. This is email sent to them on 23 March 2022 and I haven't heard from them or Bertha.
