My 9 month pregnant daughter has been admitted in Rahima Moosa Hospital. The informed her that they need to do an emergency C-section. She had her last meal almost 24 hours ago, still no Doctor attended to her and still NO emergency operation.

The worst hospital ever!!!! You get admitted here you will sleep on the bench heavily pregnant waiting for a bed. I’ve been admitted for operation a week later still nothing. All I’m getting from the Doctor is there’s a list for emergency unfortunately you will have to wait since you are not an emergency or I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do the emergency list is long. That time I’m 40+ weeks but I’m not getting any help.

This is by far one of the absolute worst hospitals I have come across. Not only during my wife's pregnancy when she sat there for 4 days over nights sleeping on chairs while heavily pregnant. They denied me even handing my wife her personal belongings I was told to give it to security at the gate. When arriving at my wife some of the belongings where missing. My daughter survived but would have died if brought into this world in that hospital because the hospital didn't even inform my wife she was breach. They didn't even bother checking her properly even though it was so far into the pregnancy and told her she can wait for another two weeks before they even look at her. To cut a long story short after waiting 4 days with absolutely next to no information or help from anyone besides absolute arrogance and rude behaviour from the nurses. My wife again was sent there as her and my daughter are very sick. My daughter cannot wait there as she is 2 years old and she cannot sleep on floors. She was then told she has no right being there as that hospital is purely for pregnancy(by one of the nurses) It's absolutely disappointing that this is the government care we have to tolerate if we do not earn above a certain astronomical salary. Absolutely not surprised more and more people are leaving SA due to the individuals who are ment to manage these places but allow them to go to absolute chaos with no help what do ever.

I am writing to express my disappointment and concern about the lack of hot water in the Gynae Ward at Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital on 24/04/2025 As a patient, I was admitted to the ward for admission. During my stay, I was shocked to discover that there was no hot water available for bathing, handwashing, or other essential hygiene purposes. The absence of hot water created an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment for patients, particularly in a ward that deals with sensitive and intimate women's health issues. I brought this issue to the attention of the nursing staff, but unfortunately, the problem persisted throughout my stay. As a patient, I expect a certain level of care and comfort, especially in a hospital setting. I request that the hospital management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensures that hot water is available at all times in the Gynae Ward.

If there's something hellopeter can do please do it to save yhe lives of people. My child survived from High Care now they want to kill her in Ward 15. There's no attention or checking her nothing. Sister only come to give her 5 strong pills then it's done. No food no what. The person is very week but she has to force herself to do things by herself. She was vomiting, the temperature was too high no one is attending her. Please who can help.
