ALERT - Vegetarians, please don't eat at The Raj Express in Sun City. After eating there all these years we were told on Saturday on May 18th .2024 that the wraps for vegetarian meals and the bread made by themselves used in bunny chow was made with egg, this was told to us directly by the Indian chef/cook/manager. That is very very, as we are religious Hindu Vegetarian people. Being a Indian origin restaurant they should even know better than any other restaurant about the concept of vegetarianism in Hinduism. This matter will be raised with the SA Hindu Maha Sabha and other platforms.

Last night I order paneer makhni via Uber eats... They charge R168 for the meal... And give you such a small amount. Over priced

I bought a prawn masala from their Simon's Town store for R 198.80 plus a garlic naan for R 22.80. Although the curry was quite tasty, I would have expected a lot more prawns - just 9 for nearly R 200. The naan had no garlic and was like trying to eat 'old boots' it was so tough. Altogether a very disappointing experience. I won't be back!

Ordered butter chicken curry that comes with rice. Also ordered butter naan. The quality as well as the taste of the food was unsatisfactory. The naan was not fresh, was probably made days prior to the order and the curry did not taste like butter chicken at all.
