the ICU nurse on duty responded to the patient call bell with a cellphone on hand, not wearing any name tag or distinguishing devices. instead of asking how can I assist, she asked who rang the bell. I as the visitor explained I see the IV machine reporting an occlusion, her response was " focus on the patient since you are here for her and leave our machines alone" I reported the matter to hospital management 7 days ago and it has since been under investigation. the nurse concerned has not even offered us an apology. she identified herself as Tiny Sekele

I recently visited Raslouw Private Hospital ER with my 1-year-old baby on 14 September 2025. We were there for less than 1.5 hours. My baby was checked for vitals, *****ed once for glucose, given a pain tablet, a suppository, a small syrup dose, and sent home with a prescription. Despite this, I was billed: R500 casualty facility fee upfront R1,999 additional hospital charges R1,810 total doctor’s fees (R450 upfront + R1,360 extra claim) In total, over R4,300 for a very short visit, with no admission or injections given. My baby is still sick and we left with just a prescription only

This hospital failed me and my son after paying a ridiculous amount of money to get help but still nothing worked they were too quick to discharge us due to not having too much bed they needed space and there's nothing they can do to help you again because they failed to do their job 🚮🚮 it's a piece of **** that hospital I won't advise anyone to take their loved ones there ever

I strongly advise against allowing your loved ones to undergo any surgical procedures at this hospital, as there are significant concerns regarding patient safety and postoperative outcomes.

Raslouw hospital case managers went from hero to zero. They do not comply to medical aid procedures and do not ensure pre-authorisation prior to performing procedures. They then want to keep the patient liable.

An exceptional hospital with a heart for humanity! 🏥 The modern, cutting-edge facilities are matched only by the incredible care from compassionate nurses and skilled doctors. What truly left me in awe was the Butterfly Souls installation, honoring patients from Gaza being treated at RPH—a powerful reminder of the hospital’s mission to serve beyond borders. Raslouw isn’t just a hospital; it’s a place dedicated to saving lives and uplifting humanity. Truly remarkable! ❤️🦋 #HealthcareWithHeart #RaslouwPH
