My experience with Rawson Auctions has been abismal. Initially spoke with Palesa whi passed me on to a Gentleman in their Pretoria Office. The Auction was meant to happen tomorrow and I had no further updates so I called Pretoria to be advised it wouldn’t go ahead as they had failed to complete their documentation.

I have my house in the market and wanted an auction company to assist and contacted Rawson Auctions. The lady came to my house and was very eager to get the mandate signed. She initially wanted her manager to take photos however decided to use the phots I took. I had to keep on following up on putting boards on the pavement. Two days before the first auction, they came to put up the boards. A month afterwards the next auction took place however the boards date was never changed. After nothing happened and nobody interested in the property, I received an email to extend the mandate for another month. They addressed the email with the wrong surname. I wrote back and mentioned this and also requested cancellation of mandate. They ignored my mail and had it on the website for end of March. I then sent a whatsup to cancel mandate. Nobody even bothered to get back to me. Only a week after I received a mail confirming the mandate expiry date. I would never recommend Rawson Auctions Southern Region to anybody. Really bad communication and service.

The sales person came to my property and had a mandate signed to put the property on auction. The contract stipulated that they will put boards up in front of house. In January these board were only being put up two days before aution date. That stayed like that and even after I asked a few times, the date was never amended to the auction date in February😡. An email was sent to me requesting whether I would like to renew the mandate. It was addressed to Mrs van Wyk!!!!!!. I am NOT van Wyk. They did not bother to take photos. Its a pity thst i cannot provide a negative rating. Rawson auctions has made me realise thst the Property market needs to be regulated. I personalt as a seller us not aeare of every process and how you can be mislead without knowing Rawson does not live by their soo called value. There agents are hit and run. Sign paperwork, they take the commission and dont give a damn sbout the conclusion on of thd sale. I have been dealing with them since mid October 2020, they gsve me the BS story about ghe market and that they hhaave a cash buyer. The OTP was signed in October. The did not disclose all information upfront it is now going on February and still no payment. There stories with the attorneys contradictory. Dont bother escalating to. TONY CLARKE as you do not even receive a. Automated response. Refer article TheEstate agents making use of social media, said Clarke, should realise that they are there for fostering friendships, not for monetary gain. They are definitely for money gain, unscrupulous, rude, condescending withholds information They make me sick to my core. MY ASSUMPTION IS WHAT MARKET SEGMENT YOU FIT IN, THHAT IS HOW YOU WULL BE TREATED,. SUCH A PITY I NEVER HAD MORE ZEROS TO THE NUMBER. DO YOUR HOMEWORK, FIND OUT ABOUT ATTORNEYS . DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING THEY SAY AS THE CORRECT VERSION UNLESS I. BLACK AND WHITE I WAS TOLD BY THE SENIOR AGENT THAT I WAS IN BREACH, YET SHE COULD NOT PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF BREACH. THEIR LOYALTY LIES WHERE THE MONEY IS INY EXPERIENCE REGULATE THIS MARKET TO SAFEGUARD THE MAN IN THE STREET I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RAWSON AUCTIONS SOUTHERN REGION AT ALL NO INTEGRITY, NO VALUES, NO LOYALTY, NO AFTER SALE SRVIICE, GREEEEEED GREEED AND SO MUCH MORE I DEFINITIVE NO TO RECOMMENDING IF I COULD CREATE AN AWARENESS ON OTHER SOCIAL PLATFORMS TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT PERSON AGAINST USING THEM I WOULD

Hi No I am not well at all, and not at all happy with your response. I am been kept ransom to a deal that costing me, and I would like to know who’s going to reimburse me the monies that I am having to fork out every moth for accommodation, because you can’t get this deal finalized. it’s obvious that you not getting anywhere with Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and respond to me or communicate with me when I do so. This is a travesty to have me hang on in a deal that should have been finalized in November 2019, already. I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL< I’ve never come across such A MESS of a deal YET , AND I REGARD MYSELF AS an honorable person, but this deal is making me sick to the core, and its changing me on so many levels, I am hoping that you can appreciate that statement. Whoever needs to correct this must do so, and be honorable About it!!! Let me know by the end of business day today 02 June 2020, please what’s the plans of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, because I’m suffering emotionally and financially hugely, its embarrassing to keep saying this, as it appears to me that you not listening to me, and keep telling something that you still need to do, that’s obviously not happening. This was the e mail i send to Rawson, and a year later i m still not in a house i bought from them and my son and I are living in horrendous conditions, because they not answering me the agent on the deal . Their contact details is hereunder, they dont come back to me, ive been lied to mislead and paid 41k over to them in August 2019, and still no house. What is the point to contact an agent if the agent won't reply? This is an ignorant, poor service! And why is Rawson doing auctions, to move the liability of paying the fee from 4 % to 11,5 % from the seller to the purchaser? This is quite dubious.
