I apply for debt counseling with Siyaya debt solution in November 2014,. After 2 months I then decided to cancel the debt review process and paid for my debts on my own. I then made an early settlements for most of my accounts and continued to pay for the ones I did not settle. I finished paying for all my accounts in April 2019. The problem starts when I enquire for credit . I can't apply for credit because of the status in my credit report I then contacted Siyaya debt solution regarding this matter and the told me that in order for me to be removed from debt review I'll have to pay an amount of R8000 , get paid up letters from my creditors and forward the letters to them and only then I will get a clearance certificate. My question to them was why do I need to pay such a huge amount of money when they know exactly that they did not help me in paying for my debt.? They took R6000 from and did nothing. The answer I got was that it is a procedure that I need to follow. I am not happy at all with this company . They are not there to help struggling South Africans they are just there to destroy. I can't do anything because of then I need to buy a house for kids and I cannot becausr of them. I wish that NCR can visit and enquire about Siyaya debt solution. Oh by the way they don't go by that name any more they are now called NEW CONSUMER .
