Just wanted to say thank you to Pools for Africa for the smooth delivery of our pool shell. Reinard and Glodean were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process - they explained everything clearly and made sure we were happy with everything. The pool shell arrived in perfect condition and exactly as promised. Really impressed with the quality and professionalism. Looking forward to getting it installed and enjoying our new pool! Would definitely recommend Pools for Africa to anyone looking for a quality fibreglass pool.

Sad to say, after 4 years + of trying to resolve this matter. I would like to rate POOLS FOR AFRICA a ZERO. On 2021-12-09, I paid the 50% deposit on a pool. R28 060.00. Date : 04-Dec-2021 Reference Number : PFA21539 - Violet Bay Pool. I send them an email, before the office even open in January, and cancelled the pool. They told me the pool was already made, they will only pay me back once it was sold. I totally understand and agreed to wait on it to be sold. They send me a link of where this pool was offered for sale. It was a terrible swimming pool. 2 Years went buy, and they sold the pool. Note: SOLD. When we talk to the owner, JAAP BRAND himself, he said that they sold it to a bad buyer. As soon as they get their money from the buyer, they will pay me back. The fact that they sold it to a bad buyer got nothing to do with me. Who they sold it to, is their own transaction and got nothing to do with me. Still till today, I am waiting on my money. Conveniently the owners changed or what ever their excuse is. I am suppose to just walk away, so they stole my money and I never received my pool. I even asked to send me then a pool, I will pay the rest in, that way I didn't lose all the money. They didn't even answer me on their promotion that I asked for a pool then to be replaced. I was more than lenient. Years went come and go. Never ever do business with these people. They ***** your money. I have proof will be more than happy to send it to anyone that can help me get my money back.

I recently purchased 4 DIY pool kits for my rental properties, sourcing 2 from Pools for Africa and the other 2 from different manufacturers. I have to say, Pools for Africa far outshines the competition. The quality of their fibreglass pools is exceptional—much better than the other brands I dealt with. Their service was also outstanding, with professional and friendly staff, prompt responses, and reliable delivery times. Pools for Africa made the entire process smooth and hassle-free. Based on my experience, I highly recommend Pools for Africa. Their superior quality and excellent customer service make them the best choice for anyone looking to invest in a fibreglass pool.

Just a little over 2 years ago I had a pool installed through Cosmo pools (accredited installer for Pools for Africa). When the pool arrived, it needed repairs before it was even dropped into the ground, thereafter the pool needed constant repairs in between. After a year of back and forth it was then finally agreed upon to have the pool recoated (which was then only done many months later) after the one manager from Pools for Africa eventually came out, shortly thereafter (about a week) I noticed little bubble wholes appearing all over after the recoating. I took this up with them only to be told it is impossible due to the process followed, yet no one came out to inspect. In December 2022 I then noticed that the coating in the one corner is now peeling off, there is white blemishes all over with little wholes all over. Every excuse is now being told and thrown in my face, from the chemicals to which I urged them to come test for themselves, and now being said the white blemishes and coating fading already, is yet also a type of chemical in-balance. From the start this pool has been problematic and needed constant repairs, and when brought to their attention (Pools for Africa & Cosmo Pools), it takes many weeks before they come out then first get given ever excuse possible as they do not want to take ownership of a poor product supplied. My pool is just a little over 2 years old and I invite anyone to come check my pool for themselves on the state of it, and your more than welcome to test my chemicals too. Now yet again I am struggling to get someone out, messages are ignored, read but not answered and the pool is just becoming worse as the days pass by. It took us just over 3 years to save for a pool for our kids, only to find out we made the worse choice on whom to go through, as every time when they decide to come out and supposable fix the pool, the problems remain the same and if anything, worsen. This has been the situation form the start, before the pool was officially installed to date, and it is only getting worse, and nothing being done. They have their money, made their profits so they just don't care at all.

I Have had a very bad experience with Pools for Africa, i had one of their pools installed in 2021 and since then i have had only problems. From day one the pool gel coating stared to come off resulting black spots in my pool, they have come out to patch the pool but two days later it just came off again, there is now two holes in my pool and discoloring on the patched areas of the pool and now they come back and say they only warrant the structural integrity of the pool. i paid a lot of money for this pool, i have always been nice with them and n ow they come back to me telling me they don't warrant this? i am not happy at all with pools for africa , i am still waiting on them to answer me on how to go forward but it seems like they just dont care.

We are very concerned about the quality of the fibreglass pools they sell. Our pool isn't even a month old and it hass large hairline cracks all around the pool, just above the water line.
