Shocking Experience – Bobtail Dog Food (South Africa)

I purchased a 7kg bag of Bobtail dog food on 25 August 2025. Within eight days of feeding it to my dogs, I lost six pets:

28 August – First puppy died

29 August – Second puppy died

31 August – Two more puppies died

1 September – Final puppy and pitbull died

I immediately contacted Bobtail via email, but my messages have been completely ignored.

This experience has been devastating and unacceptable. Losing six healthy dogs in such a short time after feeding them Bobtail is beyond tragic, and the company’s refusal to respond shows a lack of accountability.

Pet owners deserve transparency and safe products. I would strongly caution anyone considering this brand.
