Bad bad bad although their food is great
The star is for the waiter we had And the quality of the food There was a spesific white lash that had so much attitude where we felt uncomfortable and I made sure that she apologised cause wow ..and the politic in the restaurant..if you order desert that comes with ice cream and it is take away you can’t have your ice cream .they have to make sure to deliver a top notch service with the top food as you loose appetite when being handled with attitude

NO Service at Pricy restaurant Red Ox Upington
Went to Upington and visit the Red Ox steakhouse. They great us very friendly and took us to our table. We waited 20mins with NO service, not even a drink. Many waiters pass our table but nothing. We then stand up and walk out without anybody even notice us. So although they got the Best Restaurant award there prices are unreasonable high and there was NO service.

The best in the north
This is the second time we went to Upington on business. I have a kidney problem and can only eat certain foods, with no salt added. (NO meats, chicken, fish, cheese) On arrival I asked the manager, William, if they could help me and they gave me a WOW of a meal. The second night was even better because they were prepared for me. Going to Upington, I will not go to any other restaurant! This is the best place to go and the fact that they go above and beyond to accommodate their customers is outstanding service. The waiters are professional, and it is really a memorable experience definitely to be repeated. Highly recommended.

It's a steakhouse in Upington, gorgeous river views and good food. Very nice for pictures and overally, a place to visit whilst in Upington, Northern Cape
