Redz Oudtshoorn
The Redz Estate Agency in Oudtshoorn recently found a buyer for our house and for that we are grateful. The interaction with their agent unfortunately left much to be desired. We will not be making use of their services again.

***** contract and scheming for deposit
Do not trust this agency or any agents associated with them. We recently moved to the western cape, and a Redz agent helped us procure a house for renting. Little did we know she would conspire with the owners to harass us to the point we had to get another place. We comp**** with all their demands and more but still they sought every chance to take the deposit from my elderly mother. Do not trust them or their contracts. Turns out after investigation they had given us an ******* contract that was designed from the get go to ***** us over. R25000 deposit gone, and they did this all for personal gain. Do not trust any redz agent at all. They are lower than snake sh*t on the sea floor.

Deceived by Estate Agent for Personal Gains
Misinformed by agent for personal gains. Deceived me in signing a contract with higher commision thou we agreed on something else. Did not disclose relevent facts and manipulated us for personal gain.. I will take this further than this I will not bow down to deception of estate agents who manipulate people for personal gain

Disappointed and over charged with commission
Sold our house through Marloth Park Redz , Margie , was not the best experience, as she hardly advertised, i gave the lead of the purchaser and had to pay her more than 7% commission , she gave the purchasers the house keys before the transfer went through and without our knowledge , when we returned for the last time while the house was in the transfer progress things were stolen out the house and she did not want to take any responsibility even though keys were still in possession of the future new owners. Now the house is transfer and we could never resolve this issue , plus the attorney which did the transfer did not even ask for the documents they required till well after the transfer. Very disappointing in the service we received and we wont recommend this company if you want to sell your house the right way. Overcharged and took a loss of my personal items

Obstacle
The agent in Sedgefield became obsessed with the Wendy house being less than 3m from the building line even though I as the seller had included this on the signed ‘list of defects’. I instructed the attorney to send this list to the buyer when I realised that the agent had no intention of doing so ! He became an obstacle to rather than a promoter of the sale.

Shortfall
I relied on the agent’s verbal assurance that my baseline expectation will be met and that it is his duty to do so. Despite receiving more than R 30 000 more commission than was envisaged (yes you are not misreading) he has refused to make up my shortfall of R2 362.
