I took my vehicle for a service 15000km. When I drove away my hole car rattled. So I went back to them the same day. I was told by manager Mathew of Renault Tygervalley that they will fix my car. When I eventually went back he is back tracking saying that I must pay myself for the clutch. But I took a new car to them. Be warned never to take your car to them. Mathew told me they allow anyone from their car wash also to drive your car. It seems to me they deliberately break your car to make money out of you. This is *****.

Business: Renault Motus Tygervalley Staff Member Involved: Service Manager – Matthew I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the treatment I received from Renault Motus Tygervalley. What was supposed to be a routine service turned into a traumatic and unacceptable experience. I took my vehicle in for a normal service. When I collected it, I immediately noticed that the engine had been completely cleaned and the coolant had been interfered with, without any explanation or my consent. This raised serious concerns, as I was not informed of any such work being required or performed. What made the situation even worse is what followed after I raised concerns. While refuelling shortly after collecting my vehicle, I discovered that my car had been slashed/damaged. This happened immediately after leaving the dealership, and I cannot ignore the timing and circumstances. When I attempted to address this with the service manager, Matthew, instead of receiving professional assistance or accountability, I was met with an extremely disturbing response. He told me that I “could get so much more if I wasn’t upset”, which I found highly inappropriate, unprofessional, and threatening under the circumstances. This statement made me feel intimidated and unsafe. At this point, I feel: My vehicle was tampered with I received poor and ********* service I was treated with disrespect and ************ My safety and property were put at risk I am requesting the following: A full investigation into what was done to my vehicle during service An explanation for the unauthorised engine cleaning and coolant interference Accountability regarding the damage to my vehicle A formal response from senior management at Motus Renault Compensation for damages and emotional distress caused This experience has completely destroyed my trust in this dealership. I am posting this publicly because my private attempts to resolve this matter have not been taken seriously. I expect urgent feedback from Motus Renault head office.

Our Kwid went in for repairs on a Wednesday as it was leaking water. They told us I would be fixed by the Monday but we got a call the Friday before the Monday that we can come and pay as the car is fixed We went to pick the car up after work just to stuck a few minutes later as the car was never fixed but we paid. Terrible experience as we are spending extra money to Uber around while Renault is playing with us. We were planning to buy a SUV from them but Im thanking Tygervalley for this experience now we will take the business elsewhere.

I received the most poor service at Renault Tygervalley cape town, I booked my Renault kwid 2018 which was overheating and asked them to check and fixed the car, I had to constantly email and write to them on the progress of the car with no communication from them, they kept on changing parts with overall costed me around R11 000 but still the issue with my car still persist and it stayed for a whole month with them....I'm frustrated because I paid them R11 000 but my car is still having the same issue and was never fixed by them

I bought a car from them in February. I would like to say the service I received from Anthon Botha was nothing short of exceptional. He was very efficient, friendly and helpful. He went an extra mile to make sure the car was delivered to me. Days later he came and fitted the plates. He did this under unfavorable weather conditions but he did it with a smile. He also reassured me that Renault will be available should I need any further assistance. Im a very satisfied customer

I am not one to complain or try and ruin reputations but at this moment I am utterly dissapointed by the unprofessional and just plain ********* experiences I've had with renault. To start off, I've been going to Renault for years to fix my car and for services because I wanted the best work done on my car. The last service I done was in November last year, then they told me to replace my timing chain belt which I did through a mechanical warranty which was R13k then about a month later, the heartbeat warning sign came up then I booked my car in for it to be chacked out and was told that maybe they just need to reset it, then the warning sign went away. A week later, it went on again then I booked my car in again I was one of the first cars there, but even when the day was done, my car had not been checked properly, I received a phone call the next day saying my turbo booster pipe needs to be replaced and that they would send it through to the warranty. I then recieved a phone call the same day saying it was rejected , I then asked how much it would cost and they said it would cost around R8k. Someone then suggested I should go check at another mechanic, I was abit skeptical because I'm used to Renault but I still went to check and when I went to the mechanic, to his surprise as soon as he opened the bonnet he was flabbergasted and immediately asked me who worked on my car because it seems like someone deliberately sabotaged and amateurs worked my car and that I should immediately take my car back, because there was a ***** loose as I will be showing in pictures, pipes were not in place and one was not even in place, there was no clamp one of the pipes, amongst other things that were not into place. Not to mention the other unprofessional things such as the long waiting such as about 3 weeks for something simple, not communicating to me what was happening because they don't pick up the phones, resulting in me having to go there personally many times just to get information about my car because this is my only form of transportation I am extremely frustrated and will definitely be taking this further, this is just ********* on so many levels. And I feel like because of this, something major would've occur which could've resulted in major damages. So I will definitely be taking this further.

Took car in for a service and some diagnostics for car lossing power while driving, they had my car for 4 weeks and told me the timing was out and qouted close to 10K for labour. Denied qoute and went to collect car only to find that they had destroyed my starter motor. Took vehicle to other mechanic to confirm timing issue only to find iut the problem was due to faulty relay, Relay has been replaced and car is working again perfectly(had to get new starter aswell) They dont reply to any emails, they screen your calls and customer care has not returned any of my calls or emails in 3 weeks. Worse customer service ive ever experienced and mechanics dont know what they doing, i apparently had the workshop manager try diagnose the problem who clearly couldnt ready the diagnostic logs.

I write this on behalf of a friend Annelene Jackobson who has has a terrible experience with Renault Tygervalley. She purchased a new Renault Kiger about a year ago. The vehicle started giving problems after 3 months so she took the vehicle to establish the cause of the problem. When she put the vehicle into reverse or geared down, it made a funny noise. Renault then claimed that it was not damaging to the motor and she should just ignore the problem. Then the passenger window started opening by itself so she took it in again and again and again. After 3 times they replaced the part but it continues to do the same. She also reported the lights that were no shining right so they claimed they fixed it, but they didn't. She has never encountered such *********** people in her life, they are an embarrasment to Renault. They whole experience has cost her so much time and money and it still hasn't been solved.
