Rent Admin a managing agent in Villeria Pretoria was managing our sectional tittle scheme and has on 01 Dec 2018 without warning or preparation terminated our contract with them. Two days before the termination, at the AGM, the body corporate had voiced dissatisfaction with Rent Admin's services especially pertaining to debt collection. Outstanding levies which Rent Admin failed to help collect are currently sitting at approx R180 000.
Rent Admin has given our body corporate 2 months notice after which their services will be completely terminated. Any documentation or information required will apparently be given or handed over after the notice period.
Now considering that Dec and Jan months are holiday months it gives the body corporate a very short and unreasonable time to make alternative arrangements. Attempts by trustees to meet with Rent Admin to at least understand the reason behind the decision and to obtain extension of notice period were down right refused, with trustees being informed that Rent Admin's decision is final.
Where is fairness in all of this. Surely any customer/client in this day and age deserves transparency and treatment better than this.
