I would like to express my deep disappointment with Rental Cars.com regarding a recent incident. My brother travelled from the UK and made a payment for the car. He then cancelled the booking upon arrival in Cape Town and was assured that a refund would be given. However, now Rental Cars.com is refusing to refund us, leaving us feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with their service. We hope that Rental Cars.com takes immediate action to address this issue and provide a resolution.

Rentalcars.com are a bunch of crooks! I rented a car and stated that I land in Cape Town international airport at 20:00pm. I rented Woodford through rental cars.com. When I got to the airport I was told that Woodford closed at 19:00pm. And hour before I was supposed to pick up the car. I called Woodford emergency line and the guy confirmed that they closed at 19pm and that the money was not paid into Woodford yet so rentalcars.com will refund me. It has been 5month of me trying to get my refund from rentalcars.com and they refuse to refund me saying I was at the airport at 21:00. Only because I finally got a hold of them at 21:00 after thrifty helped me get hold of them. Moreover Woodford closed at 19:00 anyway so even if I was there at 19:10pm I would have still not found them. They refuse to refund me.

The website does not cleary inform you that you need a credit card too book with certain car rental companies. Now I want to cancel my booking and they refuse to refund my money. If I knew I needed a Credit card i would not have booked knowing I do not have a credit card. Stealing people's money!

Saw a car on their website. And I called the number on the ad . On the ad they said no money to spend the car is in good shape . 2 weeks later the car broke I called the dealership he said I must bring it and when I brought it back he changed and didn't wanna assist me . I contacted cars they sent me to ombudsman , ombudsman sends me to consumers rights . I bought this car for cash but no one is willing to assist me I'm being taken from 1 to the next . Please I need this dealership to refund me my money . Mac's auto at Rietfontein road in Boksburg

Bunch of criminals. The worst people under the sun. Their people read cue cards and nothing is plain and simple and explicit, as it should. Dispensable. No other words to describe them. Plenty of unclear and hidden costs and messages. They’ll tell you T’C and C’s Ma’am… Criminals……I see they have plenty of 1’s on the website and they seem unbothered..
