RentMaster have been incredibly helpful in helping me on all the steps tp be taken when a tenant has not paid rent for the past 5 months. Ashleigh , their legal officer has come back to me promptly on all steps to be taken. She is a gem.

Rentmaster has appaulling service, and I would not recommend any landlord to engage them, or for anyone you is looking to get into a tenancy agreement to agree to RentMaster being the intermediary. They are very quick and efficient when they set up the debit order to receive rentals, but they breach their own contract when it is time to pay the tenant their deposit back at the end of the agreement. They have poor response time and no regard for the impact that their poor service has on the landlord-tenant relationship.

I have been using Rentmaster for four years now and recommend them to Landlords who, like myself, cannot afford the time and expense of Tenant troubles. Ashleigh in Legal is great to work with and goes above-and-beyond to do what is needed.

Dealt with Ashleigh after having a non paying tenant. She discussed and got approval from management to pursue my tenants. She was able to contact them and getting an acknowledgement of debt agreed and formalized. And the tenant moved out without having to go through the eviction process. Considerably more than I expected, at a very reasonable cost. Ashleigh was determined to obtain a successful outcome and took all the right steps to achieve that. I give RentMaster and Ashleigh 5 stars

I recently dealt with Rentmaster in Dec 2021 on a property i was leasing where the landlord (their client) had attempted to illegally withhold my deposit when i exited the rental. Ashleigh Laurent and team at Rentmaster acted swiftly to handle my enquiry with professionalism, care and diligence. They asked the right questions, took time to investigate all comments by both parties and I am glad to say that although the landlord is their client, this did not prejudice the group in anyway from ensuring the correct legal decision is actioned. I received my full deposit and full written explanations on all my enquiries. Ashleigh even called and provided daily feedback whilst the enquiry was underway. I highly recommend Rentmaster to any other tenants. They acted with integrity and fairly. THANK YOU Very much Ashleigh and team for your dedication and commitment. I appreciate it. Not happy the way my tenant account is dealt with. The RentMaster service is for both Landlord and Tenant. Wait on direct answers to the mail below. Good day ******* So to clarify. No letter of demand was sent for R500 , R1000, R1500, R2000, R2500 and R3000. The first letter of demand was sent on 05 November2020. Is this good practise to allow the buildup. Please send the recoveries disclosed agreement. Sorry for all these mails, I need to fully understand. 1. No communications records from previous team ( RentMaster) 2. No letter of demand sent to the tenant for the first R500 , R1000, R1500, R2000, R2500 and R3000. 3. No proof of payment sent to the tenant on monthly rental paid. 4. No attempt to get clarity from the previous RentMaster team. 5. Email of telephone discussion with RentMaster staff and tenant not accepted and no investigation. Please can I have Shanaaz input to settle this matter.
