Revo Property - Make sure you inspect properties before signing any agreements

I have rented a property from Revo based on the online pictures posted by them on their website.

I paid the admin, deposit, legal document and first month rental fees. On closer inspection we found that the property is not as per the condition as advertised. They handed the keys over with promises of doing the required and necessary maintenance. Upon several email enquiries they did not honour the commitment and they offered to terminate the lease agreement which all parties agreed upon with no penalties. On enquiring about the rental refund since the unit was not occupied and the deposit, they refuse to refund the rental amount.
