Although it was very frustrating to have my car at the Riverside Autobody for over a month, they truthfully gave me the indication and estimated timeframe when i booked the car in. They rightfully advised me to get a courtesy car through my insurance. The overall service was good, but i would like to single out the workshop manager, Matthews. He is an ambassador of that workshop, he even came to my home during his leave days to fix what was outside the panelbeating scope of work. This extra mile saved the workshop and insurance company time and money because my car was supposed to be booked and taken to VW for reprogramming. Instead he found the problem and fixed it for free.

Absolutely horrific service!! Still waiting on my car to be returned after being promised that It would take 15 days while it's been a month now and they still won't give me a date of when my car will be ready. Then having the phone put down on me when enquiring about my car. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. Horrified by the lack of service.

I can't praise Riverside Autobody enough! From the moment I brought my car in until the day I drove it home, the team was with me every step of the way. My car was one of many affected by the Midrand hail damage, so I expected the repair to take over two months. To my surprise, they restored it within the promised timeframe, and their honesty throughout the process was truly refreshing. A special shoutout to some amazing team members: Palesa, who was always available to address my concerns and guide me to the right person whenever needed; I never felt ignored. Matthew and his team worked wonders to bring my car back to life, and Adele—an absolute gem—was incredible at coordinating parts and other essential details. I firmly believe that kindness begets kindness, and the warmth and professionalism I received from the Riverside Autobody team were beyond exceptional. Thank you to the entire management for assembling such a brilliant team that genuinely cares for its customers. Kudos to all of you!

My vehicle was hail damaged in November 2023.Claim was approved by insurer in December and I asked for Riverside Auto Body as I had used them before.I was told by Nandipha that the vehicle can be brought in on 29 March 2024 .I took the vehicle in on the 02 April 2024 , Nandipha then told me that she does not know who told me to bring the vehicle in and space availbilty will on be in June 2024 .I called the insurer and they spoke to Riverside and told me to take the vehice back on the 08 April 2024 .After leaving the vehicle there for almost 2 weeks I was called by Nandipha to say that the hail damage cannot be repaired and that I should collect the vehicle and bring it back when they receive the parts thats needed to resore. The last correspondence from Riverside was 23 May stating that they waiting for parts . Its now the 02 July 2024 and still no parts .

This company has given us excellent service. Special thanks must go to the owner Marc who has done every thing he could and gone above and beyond to get our car fixed. Unfortunately any delays have been all for the account of Mazda spare parts who have sent the incorrect car roof twice, holding up our repair by over 6 months!

I dropped off my car in February 2024 and to date u still don't have my car. They don't communicate, you have to call to get a so-called update. I have complained numerous times. Even complained to my insurance company nothing is happening, still don't have my car. I honestly believe that they take on too much and don't have capacity, my car was supposed to take less than 4 weeks to repair the hail damage but it's taken 12 weeks and counting. I am totally at my wits end. The service is totally disgusting.

1 star is too much for Riverside Autobody. I am not even exaggerating when I say that every touch point with this service provider sent my blood pressure into danger zone. It was the nonchalant attitude of the receptionist and Nandipha when I initially took my car in, then the fact there was additional work required which was left for 2 weeks without getting approval from my insurance. I checked in regularly and it was almost as though there were intentional delays. I was left holding for 40 minutes when enquiring about yet another delay. Gloria was the saving grace. But my car was in from 1 March - 19 May. On the day of collection (and this was a clincher), I was told to collect my car at 15.30 on day of collection. I asked of there was any way someone could accommodate me 10 Minutes later having already structured my day. I was told there was no way I could be accommodated. Once again Gloria assisted me with a simple request. This was a third party claim and to date have not received the invoice for work done to gonforward with legal side of insurance recoveries. I have used the services of other panel shops where I have had regular updates and in time delivery. Once I even had the use of a courtesy vehicle when the provider when they didn't stick to deadlines! You will have no such joys from Riverside... Gloria deserves somewhere to work where she has a supportive team and not to be the only person committed to servicing clients.
