I bought a car 8 months ago from RJ CARS and I will never forget how they helped me, I’ll always give them 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s because when I was struggling to get a deposit for my car, which I needed for work and my family they dropped the price even without me asking because that was the only way I could buy the car. I will always stand with them !

How is this dealership even still operating - I totally agree they sell coffins on wheels! Have no empathy whatsoever but I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER stop until they take accountability. They sell accident smash vehicles quickly modified and then the game begins.....trust me they will try every tactic in the book to avoid taking responsibility for their blatant money driven heartless deals. Black hole of deceit once the money is in the bank. Smooth talkers with years of experience of ****ming innocent people. TRUST ME I'm far from done and once I'm done it's time to cripple them and expose them on every social media platform. They will be shocked to discover what they have something coming - we can play the same game but on a larger level that you ever imagined! Chantal how do you sleep at night! But I have enough evidence to ensure you get exactly what you deserve on the highest scale possible!!!!

I recently had a deeply frustrating experience with RJ Cars in Durban after seeing a Renault Duster they advertised on AutoTrader. Living in Bloemfontein, I asked if my parents (who live in Gariep) could view the car on my behalf while they were in Durban for the weekend. RJ Cars confirmed this would not be a problem and even took some of my details to begin the finance pre-approval process. However, when my parents arrived at the dealership on Saturday morning, they were told the vehicle was not available because an employee was using it for the weekend. They were advised to return Monday morning when the car would be back. This forced them to extend their stay and book an additional night of accommodation—something they hadn’t planned for. When they finally saw the vehicle on Monday, there were minor issues, but nothing serious. Based on that, I submitted all my financial details to proceed with the purchase. We were told the car would undergo minor repairs and a roadworthy check, after which my parents could drive it to Bloemfontein. So once again, they booked another night of accommodation to avoid traveling late. Only hours later, RJ Cars suddenly informed us that the vehicle’s paperwork was not in order and it would take several more days to sort out. At no point during the initial inquiry, viewing, or on the AutoTrader ad or RJ Cars' own website was this ever mentioned. This not only resulted in two extra nights of unnecessary accommodation expenses for my parents, but also wasted my time and personal financial information that I shared in good faith. The worst part? When we raised our concerns, the dealership showed no remorse whatsoever for the inconvenience or costs we incurred. RJ Cars has proven to be unprofessional, disorganized, and not transparent. I would strongly advise others to think twice before doing business with them. If you're looking for honesty and reliability, look elsewhere.

Avoid RJ Cars like a plague-ridden leper. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of this establishment. My experience with them was a textbook example of how not to run a car dealership. Let's start with the bait-and-switch pricing. An advertised R89,990 magically morphed into R99,990 upon arrival, only to be "corrected" after I pointed out their blatant deception. A "mistake," they called it. I call it a deliberate attempt to fleece unsuspecting customers. Then, there's the salesman's blatant dishonesty. I specifically inquired about rust, accident history, and oil leaks. I was assured, unequivocally, that the Chev Aveo was pristine. Lies. All lies. The rear bumper was a patchwork of poorly app**** body filler, the rear rim was dented, and rust was visible above the rear window. It was as if the salesman was blind, or simply didn't care. "Didn't notice it," he claimed. Right. The negotiation process was equally farcical. After initially offering R80,000 to "compensate" for their misrepresentations, they abruptly reneged, demanding R85,000. This flip-flopping suggests a complete lack of professionalism and a blatant disregard for their customers' time. To change the price while I was on my way to close the deal shows a level of disrespect that is truly astounding. RJ Cars operates with a level of dishonesty that borders on ********. Their sales tactics are manipulative, their vehicle inspections are nonexistent, and their word is utterly worthless. If you're looking for a transparent and trustworthy car-buying experience, look elsewhere. RJ Cars is a black hole of deceit, and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER:- According to Section 55 Subsection 2 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008: Every consumer has a right to receive goods that (a) are reasonably suitable for the purposes for which they are generally intended; (b) are of good quality, in good working order and free of any defects; (c) will be useable and durable for a reasonable period of time, having regard to the use to which they would normally be put and to all the surrounding circumstances of their supply; and (d) comply with any applicable standards set under the Standards Act, 1993 (Act No. 29 of 1993), or any other public regulation. According to Section 56 Subsection 2 of the same Act: Within six months after the delivery of any goods to a consumer, the consumer may return the goods to the supplier, without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense, if the goods fail to satisfy the requirements and standards contemplated in section 55, and the supplier must, at the direction of the consumer, either (a) repair or replace the failed, unsafe or defective goods; or (b) refund to the consumer the price paid by the consumer, for the goods. I bought a car from RJ cars durban and drove it back home which is about 200km away and then I noticed an engine leak. I contacted them and they tried by all means NOT to assist me. The manager has a stinking attitude in a way that I ended up taking that s**** car to the nearest RMI workshop and paid for repairs from my own pocket......I advise every one out there who is thinking about buying from RJ cars Durban to look else where, those people are ******.
