This hospital needs to be delt with. my sister is experiencing a difficult time with the nurses at that hospital for the whole week now and they have been telling her that she will be taken in for surgery from Monday and now it's Friday and she was skipped the whole day by foreigners with cash so this hospital should just let us know if they only going to be assisting foreigners... If she is not taken in for surgery today then we going to take her home and try other means to help her give birth because it's clear that this thing with hospitals abusing patients who are supposed to be receiving the treatment for their own benefits and excepting bribes.. This hospital needs to be burned down in Chatsworth and opened elsewhere because it's not helping us people who live here

The doctor I saw today was great and friendly. Thank God… However, If I could rate the hospital a negative 5 stars, I would! To the nurse or consultant who stitched up my open breast wound today, 02 September 2025, at 13:45, in the OT room, with no anaesthetic or even numbing cream, CHANGE YOUR PROFESSION!!! You’re by far the worst practitioner or nurse I’ve ever encountered. You’re heartless, classist and rude. You give of “I’m better than God” energy. To all the nurses I encountered today, including the one mentioned above, BE CAREFUL HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE ON YOUR WAY TO THE TOP; YOU MIGHT SEE THEM ON YOUR WAY DOWN! A little humility goes a long way.

Good day , i would like to report a doctor at the hospital by the name of DR NZEY MUNDELE , in the OPD section , he is absolutely rude , when we entered his consult room , he tells my mother in law why did she bring her entire family with her when she only has pressure issues , and it was just me and my husband and her that went in , the only reason we went along with her was because firstly she is old and secondly there was a few concerns we had with regards to her health , which was not even solved there .Then he takes a call whilst we in his rooms and he has a good old conversation with someone that he owes money too and speaks loud and then writes a few points down in her chart , then i ask him we are abit concerned about her weight , then he gives us a bloods form to do bloods for her which i think should have been done before her 6 months appointment as that would have been a more profitable check up , rather than we sitting from 6am -4pm in the hospital just to do a blood pressure test that could have been done at home , further to that he gives my mother in law a higher dosage of meds without explaining why ...after we were done in the consult room , whilst we were waiting for my mother in law to get her meds , there were a few people in the queue after and before us who complained about the same doctor where they asked him questions that he refused to answer ...and mind you as a doctor you take a oath to treat patients with respect and you are there To help the sick and avoid intentional harm To respect the confidentiality of patients To prioritize patient health To not let religion, race, or social status affect care To respect human life from conception To not use medical knowledge against humanity's laws... but non of the above was practiced in those consult rooms , further to that he had a nurse there to assist him who never uttered a word , was she afraid or was it a race barrier , its sad to see our tax money paying for health care workers who doesnt take their jobs seriously and treat old people in this perthetic manor ...HELP PLEASE !

I broke my legs on the 9th of November 2024. I was driving my scooter going home when a car overtook on the incoming lane and bashed into me before running away. I was then put in casualty in R K Khan hospital. They secured my legs and processed me for leg repairs but, I had internal bleeding in my stomach so they quickly sedated me and operated on me. Internal bleeding was secured however I ended up in ICU for two weeks. When I woke up, the doctors immediately took blood samples and sent to the lab. Results returned promptly, stating that I had an infection in my wounds so the doctors immediately isolated me from the rest of the staff and treated the infection then, after three weeks, put me in theatre for leg repairs. I woke up again in ICU, after blood samples reckoned I'm 100z, I got sent to the ward and treaded with the most utmost care and professionalism that I honestly couldn't believe it that a government hospital could be so good as a private hospital. I'm now at home, 2 January 2025. Legs just need exercises and relaxation before my next appointment. After my next appointment I'll be advised to start standing and walking practices. Although I can almost stand and barely walk, I respect my doctor's advice as he knows best. Big ups to all the staff in hospital. I really enjoyed my stay and respect all staff members

Hi rk khan is a ****** hospital i had a bad experience when i was there i was a patient by egc where they got all those religious symbols in my opinion they should take down all those religious symbols i was abused by all the staff the doctors the nurse the security guard and the cleaning staff i will list it now 1. They only allow the black patients to use the patient toilet which is wrong i had a cut under my big toe i was by the nurse on duty that i must use the patient toilet because of my injury on my toe when i asked the security in English to use the patient toilet he pushed me in the public toilet but when the other patient spoke to him in zulu he let him use the patient toilet it happened more than once 2.i asked to have a shower hence i was smelling it was not late at night the security just pushed me to my bed and he tied me to the bed on my right foot which was swelling he used a strap and cable tie 3. The guy that was serving the food said there is no extra food for the patient the food was very small for a child after that we finished the food the black patients went by the gate and asked for extra food in zulu then they gave him extra food when i asked he said he doesn't have but there was more food on the trolly i was so hungry 4. I fell down when i got off from the bed the nurse called the security i told her give me time to get my strength back the i will get back on the bed the security Started hitting me and pulling my arm then he called other security the one security kicked me in my ribs It happened 3 times they hit me in front of the nurses and two doctors 6.they gave me wrong medication and they send me to ab1 the people are shouting there i went to out of the room then the security came and push me and started to kick me on my legs 7. They tied me on the bed in a sitting position my hands and feet were swollen i held the pee in the whole night then in the morning i was still tied then a lady came then they untied me then i asked if i can use the toilet she said no i will make them late then i had to walk all the way to ab1 my kidneys were sore and my bladder was sore it happened twice 8. The doctor's said that i am rasist because i am speaking like a white person hence i am coloured 9. The Indian nurse said i said i became muslim because I got nothing else to do she was telling everybody and shouting out loud then i was discharged she told me how can i be Muslim because i have an African surname but i am not black my surname is not a black surname There is still more thing i was abused by black Indian and white people in the hospital now i am out of the hospital i am abused by black Indian white and coloured people they also come to my work to say bad things about me and even when i go to the shops the black people think they are clever even in the mosque the redundant imam and the redundant people in the mosque are saying bad bad thing about me i had a small stroke there is no such thing as human rights that is just to make people stupid i went to the public relations officers to lay a complaint against the staff she said she will call me hence she has my cellphone number i am still waiting then i went to the police station in chatsworth to open a case she spoke to my mother in zulu to which i speak in English i went there to open a case then she said i cant then i went to the ombudsman for pretoria i send all what happened in the hospital after that they send me a letter that my case is closed with no explanation to why they closed is when i ask no reply i also send a email to someone from the kzn health department still no reply and i also send a massage on the website of the human rights organization but still i have received nothing black people are covering for black people i have problems with my left arm and my back and all these people that are gossiping and making stories about me come from broken homes south Africa is a sick nation even the black people
