Aan: RLD Canopy Onderwerp: Opregte Dankbaarheid vir Uitmuntende Diens Beste RLD Canopy-span, Ek wil graag my opregte dank en waardering uitspreek vir die puik diens wat ek van julle ontvang het – van die oomblik wat ek my bestelling geplaas het tot die finale installasie vandag. Vanaf dag een was julle diens professioneel, flink en betroubaar. Julle het nie net my verwagtinge oortref met die gehalte van die produk nie, maar ook met die vriendelike en doeltreffende manier waarop alles hanteer is. Dit is duidelik dat julle trots is op wat julle doen, en dit weerspieël in elke aspek van julle werk. Baie dankie vir die uitstekende kliëntediens en vir ’n produk waarop ek kan staatmaak. Ek sal beslis nie huiwer om julle aan te beveel aan enigeen wat op soek is na ‘n kwaliteit canopy en ‘n diens wat daarmee saam pas nie. Hou so aan met die goeie werk! I don't know about other peoples experience, but for me this was absolutely incredible. Since the first moment I've receive my quote on the 21st October 2024 until fitment on the 3rd December2024, it was a pleasure. I was keeping up to date from Josias and Kristen, every day/week. It was such a great pleasure doing business with RLD Design. I've tries from all the different canopy suppliers and no one was willing to help me because my Bakkie was to "OLD", but RLD Design was willing to help me, and they did. Thank you Josias, Dean, Willie, Kristen and all the staff, it was a great pleasure to meet all of you. I know they say if they review are to "high" it's to good to be true, but I promise you, these guys are going to great lengths for customer satisfaction and very good products. My experience with them was exceptional. Thank you is to small to do great to you.

Disappointing Service and Unfulfilled Promises – A Warning to Future Customers I recently placed an order with RLD for a bakkie canopy, having paid the required 70% deposit upfront, as per the company’s policy. However, it has now been over four weeks, and I still have not received my canopy or any meaningful updates about its progress. The communication from RLD has been disappointing. Despite several attempts to follow up, I’ve been met with vague responses and no concrete timeline for delivery. This lack of transparency and accountability has been incredibly frustrating, especially considering the substantial deposit paid. While I understand that manufacturing delays can happen, the total lack of communication and progress updates is unacceptable. It feels as though the company has no real regard for its customers once the deposit has been paid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend RLD to anyone looking for reliable service. I would caution future customers to be prepared for significant delays and to manage their expectations about both the timeline and customer service. I hope RLD addresses these issues soon, but for now, I’m thoroughly disappointed with the service provided.

A disappointing experience! We took our Single Cab Hilux for fitment of the RLD canopy in Pretoria, which took two hours!, after which we noticed they had made a mistake with the drilling into the load bed of our Hilux and failed to point out their mistake hoping we wouldn’t notice. There are now two extra holes on the one side in the canopy and load box. They did replace the rubber seal for the canopy, which made us wait for an extra hour. We didn’t get a discount or an apology for their mistake! Very unsatisfactory customer service for that price!! Overall I wouldn’t recommend RLD.

A disappointing experience! I tried to keep myself from going to social media, but I feel that there is no other way and people need to be made aware. I received a RLD canopy on the 19th of July. When I drove home I saw that it was wet insite the canopy. When I check I can see the following: 1. It leaked through the rubber in multiple places of the window closest to the front of the bakkie. 2. It leaked between the canopy and the bakkie in both corners 3. The rubber is loose where the canopy and tailgate meet. These issues with video/photos were sent/communicated to Kristen and Deon who work for RLD. I was then told by Kristen that a new rubber will be sent to fix the problem on the 23rd of July. When I followed up on the 29th I got no response. I was told I will need to drive to George to get it fixed (800km)! I live in Cape Town and the canopy was fitted in Cape Town. I was then asked to send I email for Refund. Was told only the owner can process this and will need to wait for him. They can not say when he will reply (Can be weeks), I can not speak to him on the phone, NOTHING. All I can say is do not every buy from them as they will leave you high and dry after they got their money. They do not care about customer satisfaction in their product.

The most professional company I have dealt with in years. From starting to do my homework, until fitment of the canopy, the process was a pleasure. Their web site is user friendly and provides comprehensive information. A quote was received promptly after I requested one, and after I accepted and paid the deposit it was plain sailing. I received SMS's updating me on the progress at each manufacturing stage, from sheet metal cutting, through bending, welding, painting to final QC checks. Three days later I was in Pretoria for other business and dropped in at the factory to enquire about another issue. The friendly personnel quickly provided the info I required and then told that the canopy is ready and could be fitted immediately if I was prepared to wait. This suited me very well as I live in Bela-Bela and expected to travel to Pretoria again for fitment. An hour later I was on my way home, with a new canopy on the back of my bakkie. The company has a culture of excellence, visible in every person I met, from the sales manager to the friendly lady who made us coffee to guys who did the actual fitting.

Baie dankie vir n pragtige canopy wat netjies gemonteer is.Julle tak in George is mooi en alles was op tyd. Vakmanskap van die hoogste standaard en ek kan RLD ten sterkste aanbeveel vir enigeen wat 'n kappie op sy bakkie wil sit. Nogmaals baie dankie Ruan en Dean ek is baie tevrede.

paid the deposit,it took them three extra months to make the canopy and ship it down to cape town after i had paid the deposit,colour was wrong but the salesman talked me into taking it anyways,one black gentleman did the fitting and drilled extra holes in my bakkie just to add to the pain,mechanisms wich keys went into where stuck and i had to q20 them myself,a week after fitment i realized that the canopy was made in such a way that the back of my hilux could not lock meaning there was no lip coming down over the back of the bakkie klap,i emailed them about it...still waiting for a responce 10 months later,this weekend in cape town some ****s just took a *****driver and managed to pry open the locking mechanism at the back,all in all worst company to choose with the worst service and the worst product.....just to totally convince you not to buy there product,wich the say is stainless steel.....wait for it...........it rusts.....!stay well away from this company
