Rockafellas Rustenburg is super expensive and their customer service is very poor. Can not manage large group tables with sub accounts properly. We had to wait 30 minutes just to get bills fixed

I would like to voice out my dissactisfaction with the service that I received. I had made a payment of R2800 as per my proof of payment. Unfortunately only 4 people were able to dine. That makes the total dining fee R1120. I was told that I should have confirmed the booking and that I was not going to receive a refund. I am owed an amount of R840 which I will not let go down the drain. Nowhere on the terms and conditions does it state that should I have paid extra, I will not receive a rebate. I am requesting a rebate for an amount of R840 that is due to me. Regards Samukelisiwe Dhlomo

My family and I are regulars at Rockafellas. We book often at this establishment and we refer several families to support you. Last night we were waiting in the queue outside the door and a couple just arrived and walked right into the restaurant and were assisted before any of the people who were waiting in the queue for quite a while. They were seated before the door was opened for the people who had bookings and I'm quite sure that this couple did not have a reservation as they were enquiring prior to making payment. As for the play area, the lady Fezeka, is extremely rude and ******. There were only 2 Indian children in the play area and she spoke to them very abruptly and did not even watch them as they played. Whilst she played with the other children in the area and was so kind toward them. I was completely appalled at her behavior. Hence I decided to watch my child as she did not care about the Indian children in the play area. She then told me that I'm not allowed there and I should leave, but the other adults who were of other races were not told anything and stayed there for hours. She continued to treat the Indian children with such disrespect throughout the evening and kept telling me to leave. Everytime I checked on my child, Fezeka was sitting down and carrying the other kids and playing with them whilst the children played rough and some got hurt. Such an individual should not be allowed near children because she has no ethics and her character is utter disrespectful.

Where do I even begin..... We made a reservation for 16 adults, 3 under 12s and 2 toddlers for 18th August 2023, in order for us to celebrate a birthday on that day. Our reservation was done via email at first, however they requested payment via eft upfront. A deposit of more than 50% was done and sent back as Proof of Payment to confirm this booking. Prior to arrival we received a call from someone at the reception desk confirming the booking for the top floor of the restaurant. Upon arrival we were stunned by the rude management that you have. We were told to stand on the side where everyone could watch these people embarrass us. We stood with a cake and wasn't allow further than a spot given to us. Eating starts at 6, we were only seated after 630. Which is a waste of 30 mins eating time, which was not reimbursed. The manager on duty told us she's making an arrangement for us to sit somewhere nice, not sure if that's what you call nice. We were DUMPED in a corner as if we were naughty school kids, it was absolutely hot there, we got disturbed by the staff walking up and down to the storage room. We also had to walk a mile to get food. The manager still had the audacity to come and ask us (after putting us in that dump she called amazing) if we're okay. We ignored her because we didn't want things to get ugly. I personally would not recommend making a reservations months in advance because you will be forgotten. Requests such as wheelchair or back issues, children under 3 being at risk will fall on deaf ears, we've requested via email, no stairs because of kids and my dad having an issue with his back and therefore can't climb up and down stairs for what we thought would be 3 hours. The service at this place is attrocious to say the least. The manager has an attitude problem and doesn't realized she's working with the public.

Rockafellas Rustenburg - Great Food - Perfect Atmosphere - Love the Play Area that they have for the kids, it's safe and they even have a Nanny looking after the little one's. I've never had a bad experience here and absolutely love everything about this place

We booked at Rockafellas for Thursday the 19th of September . We went there as a group of 8 females. When we got there, we were allocated a table in the third row which is quite a number of steps down for a sickly person. We requested that they try and allocate an upper table, I explained my reasons for such request, the waitress took us to the operations manager who did not even ask what the problem was. She just instructed the cashier to give my money back , which the cashier did. I left my friends inside and went to the car to wait for them well I guess they negotiated until they got a table in the main dining area.my friends called me back when I got back the staff including the operations manager were gossiping behind my back which I noticed and decided to ignore them. She ( operations manager ) never apologized nor said anything to me the whole situation dd not sit well with me and I paid and ate nothing because of the treatment.

My husband made a reservation for 3 people which included myself, my 8 year old son and my husband. We arrived there I was told I'm not allowed to enter the restaurant because I'm wearing a trucksuits. I'm a pregnant woman, it's was a cold night. I explained to the manager that this is what's comfortable for me in this state, mind you the manager was a woman. Out of all the people she should understand the state I am in.I cannot wear jeans because they are uncomfortable on my abdomin nor a dresses on a cold night. I was looked at like I was crazy. I would like to know since there is strict rules on dress code what is the dress code for pregnant or people with disabilities should wear?! I ended up having dinner away from my family because of the cheeky and rude manager

<p>For most part of the dinner service, it seemed like the only thing missing was the vuvuzelas been blown by 60 000 fans.</p> <p>On entrance we were greeted by friendly staff members and escourted to our seats in a professional manner however that quickly changed when both tables on either side of our own started increasing their noise levels to such drastic measures that I was convinced I was sitting in a stadium when your supported team scored. It was intolerable and therefore we asked if we could move to another table; in response we were told that we cant be moved however they will stress the issue to both tables to drop their noise levels. That failed miserably as straight after, the noise levels got worse and nothing was done by staff or management thereafter. Management and staff members should ensure that every single table has an enjoyable experience regardless of the amount of people at a single table. The noise levels became so intolerable that all 13 of us decided to leave.</p> <p>A restaurant that has a strict dresscode of smart casual should have a more professional conduct.</p> <p>There is no issue with people enjoying themselves when out at a restaurant however one should be considerate of others around them.</p> <p>The food on the other hand was good for the little that we did get to eat.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
