I had bad experience ever, I paid for the door and motor, made payment early December last year , they only installed the door only early February 2026 They blocked all my communication with them and they stil owe me money for the motor as is not yet installed Poor service

My worst experience with a service provider ever! I thought I have done proper research before contacting RSD, how foolish of me. Today marks 4.5 MONTHS since I paid in full, on the same day that I've received a quote, for the refurbishment (sand-off and re-oil) of my garage door. R5800 and I have received NO SERVICE. RSD has not even attempted to deliver the service. Numerous follow-ups, requests for refund etc. with no response and when you do receive a response it's empty promises that they have shared the message with the technicians. I've made multiple arrangements to be available on the days that the service was promised, with no one arriving. Be warned... Both the owner and the admin personnel just keep on asking for me to share the quote and Proof of Payment with them. No matter how many times you share with them, they go quiet and ignore further messages. DO NOT Fall for the "so called" 5 star reviews.

They only installed the door in early February 2026. Their turnaround time for installation was 7 days after making a deposit, but it took them two full months to just install the door. I have been calling them every day to inquire with no avail. Bad service, the worst I have ever experienced in my entire business experience." Broken promises, poor communication, no accountability Very bad experience with RSD – do not recommend Communication: ★☆☆☆☆ Work quality: ★★☆☆☆ Trustworthiness: ☆☆☆☆☆ I had a very poor experience with RSD and feel it’s important to warn others. I first contacted RSD on 27 October 2025. They inspected my gate motor and advised that it needed reconditioning, which they said would be completed the next day for R3,800. For an entire week, I was told daily that the motor would be ready “today” or “tomorrow”. I made multiple arrangements to have someone at home based on these promises. The motor was only returned a week later, in November. The problems did not end there. After installation, the gate moved very slowly, and within the same week it showed drive fault / motor fault errors. The issue kept getting worse. I contacted RSD again at the end of November. After nearly two weeks of repeatedly following up, they eventually collected the motor on 10 December 2025. As of today, 21 January 2026, I still have not received my motor back. I have contacted RSD dozens of times. The receptionist repeatedly says she will “post in the technician group”, but there is no follow-up, no feedback, and no resolution. Yesterday, I was told by the receptionist that the boss says the motor cannot be fixed and that I must buy a new one — after already paying R3,800 to RSD for reconditioning. This experience shows: Repeated broken promises Extremely poor communication No accountability for work paid for No meaningful after-sales support Based on my experience, I would not recommend RSD. Please be very careful before using their services.

Avoid this company as they will only mess you around. Had my motor reconditioned by them, was told it'll be ready the next day, no news, followed up every day and was told it'll be ready the next day. only a week later after multiple complained, our motor was brought back and installed. Within less than a week, our motor started giving drive fault motor fault. Same thing after contacting them, technician will come tomorrow , a week later still no technician

Avoid this company as they will only mess you around. Had my motor reconditioned by them, was told it'll be ready the next day, no news, followed up every day and was told it'll be ready the next day. only a week later after multiple complained, our motor was brought back and installed. Within less than a week, our motor started giving drive fault motor fault. Same thing after contacting them, technician will come tomorrow , a week later still no technician
