Rubber Sealant Middelburg

<div>I had Rubber Solutions/Sealant Middelburg come fix a few leaks and re-seal my flat roof with Liquid Rubber in Nov 2022, a year later when the rainy season started my roof was leaking in places it had never leaked before, destroyed ceiling boards, cornice and freshly painted walls. I notified him in October 2023, he delayed until end of January 2024 when I purchased another R16k worth of product, whilst under the 10 year warranty as he claimed to be broke and would refund me as soon as he got paid on some big job he was doing. Three months later March 2024, the new layer of liquid rubber solution pulled up all the torch on on the roof along every seam and completely destroyed the torch on below. Due to the extreme damage and the fact that my roof was now completely destroyed I contacted another roofing company, that explained to me because no reflective paint was painted over the rubber liquid it was contracting and expanding at a different pace to the torch on below, basically ripping it along every seam. The shoddy workmanship and lack of application knowledge of their own product has now cost me a further R240k with another company to redo the entire roof. The 10 year warranty is non existent as is their after sales service. I would highly recommend NOT doing business with Rubber Solutions. The company that redid my roof (Atlas roofing ) found no roten roof boards, as Rubber solutions claims the problem was, simply that they did not apply the product thick enough and did not paint it with a reflective paint afterwards. Rubber Solutions/Sealant has and continues to use every excuse to not fulfill their said 10 year warranty. I would be very cautious to use this company or this product.</div>
