I bought the new Fort 100 on Monday. The orfer was processed and shipped off and on Tuesday morning i received their mailing list that the same phone is offered at a discounted price. I mailed the sales dept and asked if i can qualify for the discount being the very next day and was told NO and was sent the terms and conditions that the company can change prices at any time. Which I understand, BUT the sales person who handled my order could at least have notified me to hang on for 1 day to receive the discount as they had to know what will be offered the next day :-( (that i feel is just building good customer relation and that goes a lot further than a few people reading this message. I feel it is rather just pushing for a sale/target for the day than being nice and kind to a customer rather than just pushing out a daily sales figure. VERY DISAPPOINTED indeed about this!

Ulefone Armor x 16 purchased 22 Aug 2025 Power key not responding on numerous occasions to "on and off" screen, intermitted various apps close while in use, whats app does not pop-up notification when incoming call even if the notification function is "on", heats up with original charge cable, incoming ring volume changes spontaneously, bluetooth occasionally disconnects while in use, The armor x16 was bought on 22 August The mobile was purchased on 22 August 2025, on 2 Sept it had numerous faults per email sent to fronthouse@ruggedsa.co.za, 4 Sept 2025, 09:20 Invoice nr QT127486 Courier cost QT128939 Courier collected device 15 Oct 2025 I paid the courier fee of R199 20 Oct no feedback, I made follow up 23 Oct no feedback, I made follow up 23 Oct feedback "Please be advised that your device has passed QC and will be sent to us." 23 Oct same faulty device delivered back to me, it was and is still faulty and reported within 14days, and not replaced, system & updates "this device hasn't had a system update in more than 11 months" The device was supposed to be replaced; I am having difficulty with communication and financial loss by regret of purchasing a device from RuggedSA

I read the bad reviews while I saw a laptop on special and I have twins doing matric I needed a laptop urgently I thought let me give them the benefit of the doubt. I bought a laptop online on the 21 August and I took care of it, keeping it on my work desk next to my work laptop. Lo and behold few days later the screen is blank. Called them for a return as it’s still in warranty and I am told it’s either it fell or in the sun or something dropped on it. I am told I need to get a quote for repair in which I am unable to pay. I regret being desperate and broke that I had faith in the company.

The second portable power station that i have had to send back to Rugged SA. I have used my portable power station a handful of times and it has broken again. I had to pay to get it couriered back to them because it is just out of warranty, they have had it for over a week now - no feedback, do not respond to emails, terrible customer service. A total waste of my money and i'm still waiting to see what I'm going to have to pay to get it fixed!

3rd time writing this review. Absolutely awful quality product I bought. Do not support them or this will happen to you as well. After warranty was finished started to give problems. An absolutely waste of my money. So sorry I ever bought it! Awful!

Do Not Buy This Tablet!!! This is the 2nd time I am writing this review as the first one was removed because Rugged SA asked to have it removed. Instead of apologising for there pathetic quality product, they go about removing honest reviews! The tablet has software issues. Glitches and takes extremely long to start up. Awful tablet I have had it for a long time now but the issues started after the warranty expired 12 months down the line! Do not buy!

Urgent Complaint – Faulty Device and Unjust Refund Deduction On Friday, March 14th, I purchased a Rizzen T5 Handheld Barcode Scanner. Due to the urgency of my work, I opted to pick it up in person on Monday, March 17th, rather than waste time on delivery. However, upon opening and switching on the device as per the instructions, I found it stuck in a boot loop. After contacting a sales agent, I was referred to a repair agent, who told me I needed to bring the device in so they could reload the Android OS. This meant I had to stop working, drive all the way back to them, and then wait for another hour—despite specifically requesting a replacement, as the device was clearly defective. Instead of providing a new unit, they simply reloaded the software. After taking it back to my site, I continued working late into the night, even booking an additional two days of accommodation just to get things running. However, the app running in the background kept crashing every few minutes, making the device completely unusable. When I contacted support, I was told it would need to be reloaded again. Even worse, when I asked for documentation or software access, I was informed that none existed and that only they could obtain the necessary software from the manufacturer. After wasting more time and effort trying to make it work, I had no choice but to return the device. I waited nine days for a refund, only to receive an email stating that a 10% deduction would be app**** due to a so-called return policy—despite the fact that the device never worked in the first place. I am still waiting for my payment to be returned. This company's policies and service are absolutely unacceptable—bordering on *****ulent. It is outrageous that I am being forced to pay a penalty for a defective product that was never functional. I demand that my full refund be processed immediately.

I did a review on Blackview SA(Centurion) some time ago. In years the worst service and manners I came accross in maybe a decade or more!!! HORRIBLE! This is not to groan about Blackview SA because they lost me as well as my entire client practise, but this is to give feed back about Rugged SA I found, also selling Blackview pones, but much more. I found a guy there by the name Ramion whom gave me all I need to know as well as the product to suit my needs. This place I can recommend open hearted!!!

I did a review on Blackview SA(Centurion) some time ago. In years the worst service and manners I came accross in maybe a decade or more!!! HORRIBLE! This is not to groan about Blackview SA because they lost me as well as my entire client practise, but this is to give feed back about Rugged SA I found, also selling Blackview pones, but much more. I found a guy there by the name Ramion whom gave me all I need to know as well as the product to suit my needs. This place I can recommend open hearted!!!
