Top rated steaks and chips leave much to be desired.
After seeing it being voted as one of the top six steak restaurants in the world I decided to try it. Not sure who gave the rating, but all three steaks at the table were tough, as well as overcooked when we all asked for medium rare, and the fries looked like and tasted like they came out of a frozen packet. I decided to give it a second try. Steaks were a bit better 2nd time round, but the fries were still tasteless and appeared to come out of a packet. Iron would certainly not appear on my list of top 20 in South Africa, never mind the world. So very disappointing overall. I won't be going back.

Great service. Run to Run if you want good outdoor shoes
I buy running shoes from Run in Bree Street. They are professional, knowledgeable, polite and qualified. Shoes are very expensive and a significant investment - I always leave feeling that I have the best possible option for my particular needs and not just a sale. I wish they were open on a Sunday too.
