We arrived at the resort at 14:00 as we were advised that the resort accepts check-ins at this time. While checking in we were casually advised by the staff that we should keep our wrist bands with us as they will be hosting an event the next day. When we arrived at the chalet, there was a key in the door. At this point we were not sure if this was left there by staff or if another guest was still in the Chalet. We did not want to enter and tried calling reception to advise them of this. After multiple attempts with no answer, we decided to enter to check if anyone was there. When we opened the door, the TV was on and when entering, we realized that the floor was dirty, and somebody left a piece of toilet paper on the floor. One of the doors in the chalet was off its hinge. We then checked to see if there was anything in the chalet that might belong to other guests and found it to be empty. The next morning, one of the staff arrived and asked for the key back, and then just left. We tried making breakfast and found that the pan provided by the resort has not been cleaned. The Braai facilities was also not cleaned. Later, that day we tried going to the pool and got a surprise as to how much people were at the pool area. The “event” they were alluding to the previous day was a concert held by a local artist that went on well into the evening, meaning that we could not use the facilities. If we were advised when making the booking that they are planning an event of this size, we would have found another resort. The main pool was under maintenance and we were not advised of this. The last complaint I have is for the staff. They address you with a lack of respect, sort of like they are doing you a favor. The rest of them do not even address you in English. To be honest, I am not happy. I feel like it was not worth the money spent on the weekend.

Hi I have paid a deposit to this establishment for accommodation in February and I have tried contacting them via email and telephone to reschedule the dates or get my refund from last month but I couldn't get through, my booking reference is 115984 Charlotte Smith assisted me with the reservation

I have inconsistent service from Rustenburg burg kloof the first time I called I was told I can’t book a 3 sleeper for just one night I have to make it a minimum of 2 about a day later I called back was assisted by Sheron she was able to help and book me into a six sleeper for Saturday (one night only she also sent confirmation) a day after my booking I missed a call from their offices I called back I was told the lady who called me will call right back to advise of the changes,at about 12 I called again seeing I hadn’t received the call from the lady that was suppose to help they told me she is on lunch she will call back this was on Wednesday on Friday I suddenly receive a call from a Rude Rose lady that hung the phone on me that is Rose , she made me hold for the manager but the phone suddenly dropped I called back spoke to niclolene who is the manager(that what she told me) saying it was my responsibility to follow up I told her I did follow up but no one come back to I have call recordings of the conversations where I called twice and no one bothered to call I’m highly highly disgusted by their service and negligence or is it perhaps indeed it’s true you can’t book 1 day, after realizing their mistake they call me with stories I need answers!!

<p>Please note we booked room A4 for my Birthday on Sunday 19 March 2017,<br />upon arrival we found the chalet filthy, plates with bones on the table,<br />beds with sheets not done from the previous guests, stove not working,<br />braai area without braai sieves, braai tables filthy with leaves and<br />animal droppings etc. This was very embarrassing for us as we had guests<br />from out of town with us. I had to spend the better half of my birthday<br />running around and looking for cleaning people to come and fix our chalet,<br />not to mention the attitude received when we asked them to clean this and<br />that, something they should have simply done before we even arrived there!<br />The stove was only repaired the next morning before we checked out!</p> <p>I feel thoroughly disappointed and would not recommend anyone to stay at<br />Rustenburg kloof due to the experience we had.</p> <p> </p> <p>To this day nobody from Rustenburg Kloof Holiday Resort has called or e-mailed me to apologize for the huge inconvenience caused, despite reading my e-mail to them.</p>

<p>Rustenburg Kloof has a beautiful scenery by the pool side and it also has a lot of potential but it is not taken care of. We were there during the December 2016 period & were not impressed at all. We booked 5 Chalets; some were dirty, tv's weren't working, some had cutlery some didn't, the fridges are old, there was one chalet where the sheets weren't even clean. There is no information given when you enter the facilities, you find things out once you need them-for e.g you need to go all the way to the reception to get tv remotes, if you check in at night then only realise in the morning there are no remotes you have to get out of your comfort & go enquire. The pools were dirty, the rooms aren't serviced/cleaned unless you ask them and even then it's received with a lot of attitude. I could write a book about the poor service there.</p>

<p>We book a chalet for R1090 per night. When we came here this morning there is only 1 swimming pool which is green. The other two is out of order. All 3 tennis courts have no nets and are in a terrible state. The putt-putt course is also looking terrible. Gor what exactly are we paying if there are no facilities to use. This is more than terrible!!!! I want feedback.</p>

<p>We book a chalet for R1090 per night. When we came here this morning there is only 1 swimming pool which is green. The other two is out of order. All 3 tennis courts have no nets and are in a terrible state. The putt-putt course is also looking terrible. Gor what exactly are we paying if there are no facilities to use. This is more than terrible!!!! I want feedback.</p>

After 4 phone calls, phonetically spelling out my email address each time, I still have not received a booking confirmation. And they only have a phone number as a contact on their website, no email! Even the person answering the phone says they cannot give me an email address, and the manager is unavailable<br> <br> So the end result is we cannot go even if we wanted to, pathetic!

First we arrived we paid R1160 for one night for a 4 sleeper.<br> The fridge didnt work it had a terrible smell when we got there.<br> The aircon didnt work in the one room.<br> The Sunday when we want to ride the supertube, they said the supertube opens at 9:00 we waited 10 min and asked the office to open the supertube they phoned the people again... After 30 min we asked them again to open the supertube we waited and athen someone came told us the pipe of the supertube is broken... We phoned several times before someone came to tell us i really think its bad service and feel they didnt want to open it. It wasnt even reported at management or reception..
