Here’s your experience rewritten in a professional tone while keeping the details clear and structured: ⸻ Subject: Feedback on Recent Flights and Service Experience Dear [Airline Name] Customer Service, I am writing to formally share my recent travel experience with your airline, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. My first journey with your airline was on 18 July 2025, flying from Johannesburg to Dubai. The scheduled flight duration of approximately 12 hours turned into a total travel time of 33 hours due to delays. While the disruption was significant, I appreciated the way your team handled the situation, including arranging hotel accommodation. My connecting flight was also delayed, but the assistance provided was satisfactory. However, my return journey on 10 August 2025 from Dubai to Johannesburg was highly unsatisfactory. The original departure time of 01:15 was first rescheduled to 03:20, then reverted to 01:15, with check-in scheduled to open at 23:00. Upon arrival at the airport, I was informed the flight had been delayed until 06:00. I returned for check-in at 04:00, only to learn it was further delayed to 07:28. We eventually boarded at 06:00 and took off at 08:00, resulting in a missed connecting flight. I was sent to a hotel and advised to return to the airport at 20:00. Upon arrival, I had to visit the service desk as I was not booked on the intended flight. I was then moved to another flight, only to be informed at check-in that it had been cancelled. I was reassigned to yet another flight at 20:00, leaving me with a 7-hour wait—assuming no further delays. Throughout this process, I was not offered a meal or refreshments, despite being instructed to arrive early. Additionally, no arrangements were made to return me to the hotel. The handling of time and scheduling appeared inconsistent and poorly managed. Furthermore, on multiple flights, the in-flight entertainment systems and Wi-Fi were not operational, and one seat tray had chewing gum stuck to it. These issues significantly impacted comfort and overall travel quality. Given these repeated inconveniences, I regret to say that I would not recommend this airline based on my recent experience. I hope you will review these matters seriously to improve service reliability, passenger care, and operational efficiency..

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of response regarding my lost stroller claim at Dubai Airport on 29 December 2024. Dnata had been handling the case, but they have now informed me that their timeframe to assist has lapsed, directing me to Rwanda Air’s Lost and Found department. Despite sending numerous emails to multiple contacts, I have received no assistance or even a response. To make matters worse, upon returning home, I discovered that my luggage was severely damaged—a wheel and a chunk of the suitcase were broken off, despite it being cling-wrapped at the airport. The poor handling of lost and damaged items is unacceptable. Being on holiday in a foreign country with a baby and no stroller left us with no choice but to purchase a new one. The least that can be done is to honour the claim and compensate us for the loss. I expect urgent action to resolve this matter and will escalate further if necessary.

Travelled from Dubai on the 19th of December 2024 to Joburg,we had a long lay over 12 hrs in Kigali,to our disappointment everyone from Dubai didn’t get a single checked in bag regardless that our bags should have been the ones to be loaded on the plane,we reported lost baggage and was given numbers to follow up ,non of the numbers are answered the email doesn’t get rep**** too,we don’t know where our bags are and when we will receive them if ever we will do,bags and contents worth thousands of rands are just no where to be found and no one wants to be responsible, worst service from Rwanda air …we want answers or updates

Hello Peter! In May I flew my daughter from the UK to South Africa for a visit. Her flight to SA went well: the aircraft was clean, meals were good and everything worked. Going home was another story! She arrived at Oliver Tambo to be notified that the flight was delayed. After a few notifications that the plane would be leaving later, it finally culminated into the flight being totally cancelled. Along with other passengers my daughter was accommodated at a hotel overnight, but she could only resume her journey home the next day. This had repercussions. She lives in Plymouth which is a six hour bus trip from Heathrow, and as a result of the delay the bus was missed and there is no refund for that. Her cat was being cared for by a kitty nursery and she ended up paying an extra day's accommodation for his stay. Long story short, she was out of pocket by seventy pounds. The worst frustration was when regular RwandaAir passengers in her group reported that this is a regular happening on RwandaAir. Never will I fly RwandaAir again.

I flew with Rwandair for the first time about a month ago. The flight was okay and so was the food. The terrible part was getting my baggage. When I got to my destination, my bags and many other bags were not on the baggage belt. I filled in forms at the airport to have my bags delivered to me. I got my bags 3 days later. When I got my bag back it had a very big dent in it. I understand minor dents, those things happen, but that dent is so bad. Now, I am trying to get some form of reimbur*****t from RwandAir, but they are not very helpful at all. They are asking me for forms that I never received from the airport or from the people that delivered my bag. Plus, whenever I try to send them an email, the mailbox is full. This is truly frustrating! This was my very first time flying with Rwandair and also the very first time I did not get my bags when I landed.

After losing my baggage upon arrival at Cape Town on Thursday, I have had no communication from them - with the exception of a reference number. Calling the number at CT International is frustrating and never answered. There has been no assurances given, no compensation offered. My confidence that I will ever se my bag again is dwindling.
