Beware of Constance Mako, Soozi and everyone at Ryan’s Realty. Real ****
I think we need to sue this company as a collective. Constance Mako is literally the worst person in that business. I have been waiting for my deposit for 2 months.

Ryan's Realty Managing Agent Services Lacking
This managing agent is not doing an acceptable job. Their communication is lacking and we as the owner's of the unit struggle to get the service we pay really good money for. They take really long to respond to emails or don't respond at all. They do not conduct adequate inspections on the unit missing critical items and not reporting on it before the tenant has left. We as the owner's have to absorb costs caused by tenant's and cannot recover the costs as a result.

Never got the email
When we moved into 1 of their rental properties (Northgate Heights), it was initially seamless, however they didn't indicate that once moved in we would be paying directly to the landlord (Afhco), so we paid our 1st month's rent to them instead. The Afhco wanted to lock us out. I asked Constance Mako to send me proof that she had forwarded the Landlord proof of payment and that the monies will be transferred accordingly, she never forwarded me the original email she claims she sent to the landlord week prior. I called over 3 times for her to forward the email as proof that she did send it, and by the end of the day, she had not. So my review of Ryan's Realty is not great because also the office number is another issue so you would have to call the cellphone. We are disappointed.

Terrible experience renting a cottage on Gertrude Street in Randburg. When I moved in on the first of the month there was no power and the previous tenant was still in the process of moving out, I chatted to the previous tenant which was also an employee of Ryan's Realty to request assistance in using the electricity meter to restore power. Once I restored power the meter beeped with an error stating "Bypass" after asking the previous tenant about this they stated "oh it does that". After spending the night the loud beeping continued every hour throughout the night, in the morning I was woken up by the real estate agent entering my cottage to fix issues and I overheard "use cheap stuff" when they entered referring to the replacement to repair faulty items, not knowing I would be present. After a week I complained about the meter that was beeping and stating the words "Bypass" which was only rectified nearly two months after the complaint and during the time I discovered that my electricity was being stolen. I received a flat compensation of R250 on the first month, but on the second month I received no compensation at all for my stolen electricity and a blame game from Ryan's Realty at who was at fault. When the issue was being rectified I lost R800 worth of electrical equipment from a surge when correcting the DB boards wiring to which I received a rude conversation with the assistant manager of Ryan's Realty when requesting compensation, I got another blame game, but no compensation. After 4 months of renting the cottage I experienced an issue with vermin running in my roof during the night, when I complained to the real estate agent that leased the cottage to me, they told me they were going to ask the gardener to cut the branches of the tree that are leading into the roof of my cottage (I was told this would happen when I viewed the property before renting) the next day all the trees on the entire premises were trimmed except for the tree that had branches entering my roof, this is 4 months after I was told they would be cut when viewing the cottage before moving in, it still hasn't been cut. In the listing of the cottage they advertised a private garden which I can access from my bedroom, but ended up being used as a garbage dump for all of the garden waste of the entire premises which has grown to over 2 meters, this has become a fire and health hazard. I was told by the realty agent that I was not allowed to liaise with the landlord directly when encountering any issues. I moved here after securing a bond for a development of this real estate agency, but our business relationship has soured and have buyers regret as I have little faith in their abilities to attend to issues or respect customers.
